Located on a quiet beachfront setting, the Sunset Beach has a friendly and relaxed atmosphere where you can enjoy a range of activities.
The Sunset Beach Hotel is situated along the sandy Kotu Beach where you will be taken aback by the breathtaking views, particularly in the evenings where, as the name of the hotel suggests, you will witness some amazing sunsets. There are also some pretty amazing sights in the hotel's colourful gardens which has an immense variety of tropical plants and flowers.
The hotel's staff are extremely friendly and provide excellent hospitality. This shows in the newly renovated guest rooms where the staff will try and make you as comfortable as possible. The rooms are pleasantly decorated and simply styled, but provide you with a good range of facilities. The Standard and Deluxe suites have the extra benefit of opening onto the garden where you enter your own secluded area to relax and soak up the sun if you don’t want to make it to the beach or pool.
However, the pool is the most popular facility at the Sunset Beach, as you can have a relaxing swim whilst waiters from the Bar & Grill provide you with chilled drinks. There is also a kid's pool so parents can relax worry free under the Gambian sunshine. The hotel strives to do its best to help you relax by the pool by organising the sports activities on the beach.

Standard rooms have double or twin beds plus extra rollaway bed and sleep up to 3 adults. All have air conditioning*, cable TV, mini-fridge, shower room and balcony or terrace. Twin rooms for sole use are available at a supplement. 1 bedroom apartments sleeping up to 4 have similar facilities and consist of a bedroom with double or twin beds, separate living/dining area with a sofa bed, kitchenette with electric cooking rings and utensils, mini-fridge, air conditioning and a balcony or terrace, and twin rooms for sole use are also available at a supplement. *Local charge payable.
