Ok but the food is not the best
The hotel was lovely especially the staff as they do an amazing job! The entrance into the hotel was amazing as it was all marble and very well presented. The waiters and bar men would all go out of their way to make you feel welcome, and the maids always made the hotel look spotless. The only downside to the hotel was that a little bit of up keeping was needed in the bathroom and in the complex grounds. The food most of the time was cold and needed to be microwaved before eating unless it was made fresh for you, plus there was very little variety compared to previous all inclusive hotels I've stayed in. Me and my partner spent most of the time in the sister hotel which is in the same complex and would of been cheaper if we had paid to go there as this is where all the entertainment was. The club wasn't open when we were there which would of been nice to know before we booked as this was why we paid extra mainly for the hotel. Also when I lost my band one day in the pool, they made us pay 30 dinar to replace even though we were not informed of this on arrival and was extremely disappointed about as I have never had to do this in an all inclusive hotel, also they charge you daily for as safety deposit box which is common in most hotels but not something I've ever had to do in an all inclusive. Very disappointed about this otherwise we had a really good holiday! :)

I'm currently at the hotel and now on my 3rd day. The rooms are basic and in need of painting, they would have been nice back in the day. The paint is sunburnt and flaking, we have two rooms, both loo seats are not fixed. One if my draws collapsed when I opened it.
The restaurant ran out if diet coke and has not re stocked. Breakfast there is no choice of fruit and limited cereal. Lunch time there are no cold meats or cheese, however you can eat this for breakfast. Cutlery is hard to come by too. The food selection is very basic to say the least. Thank god there are restaurants over the road.
The pools are cramped and play good old 90's music. I did think I could use the Mahabra beach next dour until I went to use a sun bed and had to leave
I've been to Tunisia 3 times, although the last was 11yrs ago, I'm not sure I'd want to come back again if I'm truthful

Sunny but not great holiday
We stayed here August 2012 the weather was amazing and we did pretty much every trip through Thomas cook which was amazing the Carthage ruins was an amazing site and well worth a visit. The only down side was the food I ate very little in the hotel as it was either under cooked or cold or worst still mauled by people that have no idea what serving spoons are.... However I did find a place just up the road called farmers steak house which was amazing. The sea view was non existent and not worth the extra you pay for it.

you have been warned
Beware of the locals at weekend as they take over . If you have a tabel resevered which is yours for your holidays forget about it as you will lose it , you will be moved to a table which is dirty or put out side .We have been to Tunisia for the last 5 years and never had this befor. So we cant recamend this hotel. But the Marhaba is far beter which we think should be a 4 star not a 3 star. so you have been warned this a true acount

resort/hotel outdoor attractions closed, low residency coupled with cold weather made entertainment very difficult
Thos cook resort rep useless, trips not attractive, resort very run down, limited options, a week wasted !

2 Star not 4 Star!!!
We were sold a 4 star luxury holiday, our hotel was 2 star at best! We arrived to find our room being painted, unclean & unmade. The whole hotel run down, an extreme difference to the other hotel on the complex. The pool had tiles missing and lose cables in it. There were broken lights in the grounds, which children were playing with. The air conditioning had been switched off because October is Winter even though the average temperature was 31 degrees!! The food was averag, & a number of people had upset tummies. One guest was hit on the head by a falling ceiling vent & another slipped over by the pool. On the plus side some of the staff were lovely & the other English guests were nice. The Russians were aggressive, trying to start fights in the evening. We were constantly harrassed by someone trying to sell dodgy camel rides. We did complain but it was a waste of time!!
