I'm so glad we booked these apartments as they definitely lived up to their great reputation on here.
The apartments are spacious and well laid out. I liked the fact there were catches at the top of the balcony doors, stopped the kids trying to venture out on the balcony on their own! There were 4 of us, me, hubby and our 2 kids (aged 6 and 3) and we had plenty of room. I did struggle a little bit with space for our clothes but that's probably more me packing too much stuff. The kids had the bedroom and me and hubby had the sofa beds in the lounge area. The sofa beds were very comfy, much more comfy than some hotel beds I've slept in. We all had great sleeps every night, the doors really do block out any noise. Our apartment faced out onto the entrance and as we were on the 3rd floor it meant we had a sea view which was lovely.
The pool was brilliant, only niggle was that it was a little bit chilly but it was the end of September so I guess that is to be expected. It certainly didn't bother the kids, just me and hubby were freezing! We never had a problem getting sun loungers but I guess it would probably be different in high season. The kids absolutely loved the wee swingpark - it kept them amused every day, apart from the 2 rainy afternoons we had. It was perfect for their age group and brilliant that me and hubby could pull up 2 chairs and sit and watch them and chill out.
The location was perfect for us. Far enough away from all the noise but still within walking distance of everything. I adored the old town, especially all the shops - was surprised I managed to cram everything in coming back! The new town wasn't really our cup of tea, but each to their own - I'm sure we would've felt different if we were just on our own with no kids. The hill isn't particularly steep, it's just quite drawn out but perfectly manageable unless you have mobility problems. We managed it every day - that was our workout for the day, made me feel less guilty about eating my body weight in white Magnum ice lollies!!
We ate most nights at the snack bar in the apartments and it was excellent value for money. The portions are enormous and the chips are delicious! There is a kids range on the menu, nothing too adventurous so that suited my 2 perfectly. My only gripe would be that I wished there were more veggie options on the menu, but I do realise that being a veggie I am definitely in the minority abroad. I still managed to find something to eat every night. The bar/waiting staff were nice, a bit gruff to start with but I think that's sometimes just the Spanish way of things, they don't mean anything by it.
The entertainment staff (Kirsty and Mila) were brilliant at the mini disco - our 2 kids absolutely loved this, think it was the highlight of their evenings! We also stayed for the parrot show and the reptile show - again the kids loved this.
All in all we had a very enjoyable and relaxing holiday and would definitely recommend these apartments. I do think if we come back to Benidorm we would stay here again - I like to try new places so it will probably be a few years before we do come back.

felt this was a great choice for me
Terralta Apartments were spotless, staff friendly, Rep excellent.
As comment before me , wouldnt say it was unfit folks, big walk up the hill to get to the hotel...but well worth it.....quiet if you want it and not far to the old town...taxi's inexpensive, would certainly go back ....as long as im fit to walk.

Terralta Apartments in Benidorm are the best we have ever stayed in. In June 2012 when we visited with our daughter it was the 7th time we had been there. Staff are amazing and welcoming. Pool was fantastic for the kids would definately go back.

last minute holiday
we first stayed at these apartments when they opened a few years back and this was the forth time we have stayed there . The apartments are just as nice as when they opened ,clean and very well kept . The terralta apartments are on an incline and about 5-10 mins from the resort centre which suits us fine as we like a walk , there is a bus that stops outside that will take you into the centre . There are two pools , one is large oasis type pool and the other is covered adults pool (heated in winter) there is a kids pool and a jacuzzi at the end of the oasis pool . There is a 30 euro deposit per adult when you check in for breakages which is refundable on check out its not too bad if you go on holiday aware of this as we were but a few families checking in who were not and it was a large chunk out of their spends .All in all i dont think you could be disappointed with the terralta .

After a 6+ flight delay we were exhausted and a little fed up by the time we arrived at the Terralta. First impressions from the coach were a little dissapointing. But to be honest we really enjoyed our stay and if we ever came to Benidorm again we would happily stay here. The place was spotless, all the staff were very friendly and its nice and quiet. The accomodation was fine, we were on the ground floor which i am not usually keen on but the balcony was elevated above ground level and in actual it was very private so we didnt feel the need to request a move to a different appartment. The Terralta is situated halfway up a hill but the walk up wasnt that bad really, should be fine if you are reasonably fit. There is an hourly bus service until 9.00pm at a very price for those that should require it. The pool area was very clean, and a life guard was on duty. The onsite mini-supermarket was well stocked and reasonably priced.
