Malta Holidays

Nestled at the centre of the Mediterranean, the Maltese archipelago is a melting pot of cultures. With North African and Arabic influences from the south, Sicilian from the north, and Greek from the west, Malta offers deep blue skies and an intense cultural experience. From the architecture to the cuisine, the country’s rich heritage can be both seen and tasted.

The Hypogeum is the only prehistoric underground temple in the world, and a must-see. This underground cavity is made up of halls, chambers and passages, which have all been excavated from the rock. It’s one of nine UNESCO World Heritage sites in Malta and can only accommodate 80 visitors at a time, so be sure to book a ticket in advance. Other architectural wonders on the island include Renaissance cathedrals, baroque palaces and Neolithic temples.

Sunny days, expansive beaches, and vibrant nightlife make Malta a great holiday destination for relaxing and having fun. Golden Bay is one of Malta’s most popular beaches on the North West coast. Located beneath steep cliffs, the gently sloping sweep of sand is popular with locals and tourists alike. For a quieter experience, try the neighbouring Ghajn Tuffieha which can be reached via a flight of steps. Valletta is the charming capital city and a great place to begin your invigorating holiday to Malta.
