Soviva not so good
Stayed here at the end of June. Nothing like photos in brochure. The nice bar shown is actually a pay for bar as is the cafe with the piano. The pool bar shown at side of slide was not there, and loungers not spaced out like photo. Room was nothing like photo, very dated, no dressing table seat, no flowers beside bed. Broken toilet flusher, broken light switch and corroded cupboard containing a dirty fridge. Restaurant again, nothing like photo. No lights in it except, blue fly catchers. Food, in my option inedible. Had to eat out, except breakfast which was just ok. Difficult to find plate, cups and cutlery. Puzzled where the 2 lounge bars are? Did not see any afternoon tea and cake, except for the donuts by the pool, which you have to pay for!. The beach was not a stone throw away as stated, and there was no directions how to get there, was dirty and full of horse manure. Never seen any pedalos either. Drink served in plastic children's beakers, some with teeth marks, as there never seemed to be any glasses. Only 1 type of cocktail unless you go to pay bar. Staff, not very pleasant at all. Maid seemed nice but kept coming into our room without knocking, several times a day. Harassed by spa staff constantly. The only positive was the a la carte meal, which was lovely, at back of pay bar. All in all, the worst hotel I've ever stayed in. My advice is don't book here.

Fabulous relaxing holiday in Tunisia
We had a wonderful relaxing holiday at the Soviva Resort in Port El Kantaoui, Tunisia. Two Grandmothers travelled there from 6th to 20th April 2014 with an 8 year old Grandson. The hotel was very welcoming the staff vey friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and tidy, towels changed and room made up daily. The food was very good but did become monotonous, but only what you can expect from a 2 week all inclusive break, having said that, even though we have a very fussy eater in the group, there was always something there for her to eat without complaint! Our grandson was well catered for with freshly made Panini pizza, and pancakes on offer, as well as the other food on hot and cold buffet. Pool was fantastic, it was clean and safe with lifeguards patrolling and keeping a watchful eye on the kids as they tried the slides and lazy river etc. The Entertainment team at the hotel are amazing! They kept our Grandson busy with various activities such as French Boules, football, mini golf, darts etc from 10am until 5pm! We were able to relax without worries around the pool or to join in the activities with him if we chose to. He was well looked after in a safe and friendly environment by a team of lovely people who made this holiday a one neither he, nor his Grandmothers will never forget! I would highly recommend the Soviva for a lovely relaxing Spring break and will be returning hopefully next Easter.

Great family holiday
We stayed at this hotel for 2 weeks in July and loved every minuite of it , the staff are really nice and friendly our room was clean and towels and sheets were changed every day the maid was always nice our room was always spotless and we often left valuables out and they never got touched so the staff are honest couldn't ask for nicer people . Entertainment was great something for every one they have got a photographer in the resort who's takes professional pictures for you and he's really funny. Plenty of trips to do and all reasonable priced we done the boat trip, camel caravan, and the African dream they were really good and not forgetting all the guys at the beach they made us feel really special so thanks frank, freddy, Faycal and Ben also the waiters , one last thing to add water sports is a must these guys are great too very friendly . We enjoyed this holiday so much we are going back for my daughters 18th birthday in September we really carnt wait so see yous all soon x

Great Hotel. Poor Resort
If you like all inclusive holadays and like to stick around the hotel all day then this hotel is perfect.
Rooms are spacious and cleaned every day..
The pool area and gardens are a credit to the ground staff.
All the staff whether it be cleaning staff, waiters or management are friendly and always greet you with a simple hello/good morning etc.
The buffet gets a bit repetitive, but there is a good choice to go at.
Bar area can get busy at certain times but not that bad.
The animation team are great and try to get people involved in all the activities.
The hotel has a private beach about 5 minutes walk away which is a quiet change to the crowds around the pool.
If you like to get out and about then forget it. The area around the hotel is barren. The Marina is about half hour walk and a bit more liveley, but be prepared to be hassled continuously by sellers.
All in all we hade a great holiday due to the standard of the hotel. Shame about Port El Kantoui
