Norwegian Epic

Norwegian Cruises

With capacity over 4,000 passengers and a host of unique entertainment and accomodation features, the Norwegian Epic, from Norwegian Cruise Lines, is more than your run of the mill cruise liner.

When she launched in 2010, the Norwegian Epic gave the cruise industry several firsts - the first studio cabin at sea, the first ice bar at sea, the first Blue Man Group show at sea, and even the first translucent bathroom! Cruise ships don’t really get more cutting-edge than this.

And the flexibility and choice offered by the Epic does not stop at the vessel’s design. With Mediterranean cruises, transatlantic passages and Caribbean voyages to choose from, the world is your oyster aboard this floating city.

Departing from Barcelona, the Norwegian Epic’s Western Mediterranean Cruise visits Naples, Rome and Florence before making the French connection at Marseille and calling in at Palma on the way back to Barcelona. When in Barcelona, take one of the city’s foodie tours around the bodegas of Las Ramblas for a dazzling culinary experience.

Alternatively, you can voyage around the Caribbean, or enjoy a transatlantic passage, with itineraries ranging from seven to 21 nights.

The variety of nightlife aboard the ship really has to be seen to be believed. The Cirque Dreams and Dinner experience is a spectacular extravaganza, featuring world-class acrobats and aerialists to entertain you as you indulge in the ultimate theatrical-gastronomic experience. If you are game for a laugh, ensure you make time to check out the Headliners Comedy Club.

Music buffs will enjoy the ‘Legends of Entertainment’ act, which features tributes to artists such as Elton John, Michael Jackson and Whoopi Goldberg in a series of show-stopping concerts. Another unforgettable Norwegian Cruise Line experience is the White Hot Party, where top celebrity DJs play to passengers dancing the night away poolside under the stars.

Teens aren’t left out of the party and have their own dedicated onboard space, The Entourage Lounge, which transforms from a chill-out area by day to a full-blown nightclub once the sun goes down. Other activities for older children include the video arcade, and there is an onboard bowling alley for all the family to enjoy.

Enjoy state-of-the-art cruise travel in a relaxed and informal atmosphere aboard the Norwegian epic as you discover the delights of Europe or the Caribbean.
