With a unique design strategy, using lots of glass walls in public areas to bring the views of the outside in, Vision of the Seas is one of the most appealing ships in the cruise industry. More than two acres of glass were used in the ship's construction to make the sun, sea and sky a seamless part of the ship's interior. If taking in the sights of some of the world’s most beautiful locations isn’t enough, Vision of the Seas offers the vast range of activities and facilities typical of a Royal Caribbean cruise. There is 18-hole miniature golf that has the actual typography of a real course, a jogging track and of course Royal Caribbean’s signature rock climbing wall for the thrill-seekers. If rock-climbing sounds a little too much, the ship’s spa, with its various indulgent treatments and relaxation room will provide the perfect place to escape and unwind.

Destinations and itineraries

The huge windows, transparent lifts and glass roofs make Vision of the Seas one of the best ships afloat for viewing the scenic wonders and spectacular sights of the Norwegian fjords and tranquil paradises of the Caribbean.

An eight-day cruise of the Norwegian Fjords at the end of August sees Vision of the Seas set sail from Copenhagen en-route to Oslo, Stavanger, Alesund, Geiranger and Bergen before returning home. Passengers can enjoy excursions to many of the must-see sights of Norway including the Medieval Akershus Castle in Oslo and the beautiful hanseatic houses of Bergen, a world cultural heritage site since 1979.

Come the end of September, Vision of the Seas sets sail for warmer climes across the Atlantic, beginning a series of Caribbean cruises. A series of nine-day Southern Caribbean cruises starting in mid-November sees Vision of the Seas set sail from the port of Colon in Panama, stopping at the Columbian fortress city of Cartagena and going on to visit the islands of Bonaire, Aruba and Curacao in the Dutch Antilles. From flamingo reserves to coral reefs and idyllic, pure white beaches, passengers will be submersed in paradise from dawn to dusk.

Vision of the Seas promises unparalleled views of the both the oceans she sails and spectacular destinations she visits. Endless walls of glass encase an exciting range of activities, restaurants and evening entertainment, ensuring guests the cruise of a lifetime.
