Lido Di Jesolo Beach

One of the most popular attractions on the Venetian Riviera is the beach in Lido di Jesolo. This Blue Flag winner has 17km of golden sands with plenty of sunloungers and parasols, lapped by the inviting waters of the Adriatic Sea.

There's loads going on, on this beach, head for one of the watersports centres to try your hand at windsurfing and sailing, grab an ice cream or a bite to eat from the many restaurants and cafés on the beachfront promenade, or just simply pick your perfect tanning spot and spend the rest of the day soaking up the Italian sunshine.

All along the front of the beach, on the promenade, you'll see the magnificent sand sculptures. From medieval statues and fairy tale castles to all kinds of animals, you can't help but admire these sand masterpieces. One of the most popular sculptures is the nativity scene, there's so much attention to detail, you can sometimes forget it is hand crafted out of sand.
