This website is operated by Thomas Cook Retail Limited, trading as and Thomas Cook. Please read these terms and conditions carefully before using this Site. You must consent to these terms and conditions without qualification if you use this Site, and if you disagree with any part of these terms and conditions then you may not use this Site in any way.

Who can use this website

This Site is intended for use by users who access it from the UK, but we can also accept bookings/enquiries from users who access this site from other countries within the European Union. The information and prices on this site only apply to users who make a booking from the UK or another European Union country, and all prices are shown (and payment is required) in £ Sterling. We are a company incorporated in England and Wales. The products and services we offer are governed by English Law and the jurisdiction of the Courts of England and Wales applies to any disputes that may arise. We are not licensed to trade as a travel agent or tour operator outside of the European Union.

No warranties and/or representations of any kind, express or implied, are given as to the compliance of the information shown on this Site or the services we offer with any laws of any other country, and the laws of other countries will not apply to this Site or to the services we offer.

We reserve the right to deny access to this Site at any time without notice.

This website is for use by members of the public only to make travel bookings. We do not accept bookings made by travel agents or other agents acting on behalf of members of the public. Any bookings made in contravention of this rule will be cancelled. Where we incur any cancellation charges from the supplier of the travel arrangements, these charges will be passed onto you in full together with an administration fee of £100 per booking.

Governing Law:

Access to this Site is conditional on your agreement that all information contained in it and all matters that arise between you and us will be governed by English Law. It is also conditional on your agreement that any dispute that arises between you and us will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of England and Wales.

Site User Obligations:

By using this Site you agree that:-
1. you accept financial responsibility for all transactions made under your name or account;
2. you must be 18 years of age or over and have legal capacity;
3. you warrant that all information you provide about yourself and about anyone else shall be true and accurate;
4. this Site must not be used for speculative, false or fraudulent bookings, and that you will only use it to make a genuine booking on which the named passengers intend to travel. The making of multiple bookings as a means of holding travel dates or availability, or any other type of non-genuine booking – for example, making bookings under our ‘zero deposit’ promotion, where you have no definite intention to travel, is strictly forbidden. We reserve the right to cancel without notice any bookings that we have good reason to suspect are in breach of this condition, and we shall be entitled to recover from you our administrative costs, cancellation costs and/or any loss of revenue suffered as a consequence of such bookings being made.
5. the transmission of threatening, defamatory, pornographic, political or racist material, or any material that is otherwise unlawful or offensive via this Site is expressly prohibited;
6. this Site and any of its content may not be modified, copied, transmitted, distributed, sold, displayed, licensed or reproduced in any way by you except that one copy of the information contained within the Site may be made by you for personal, non-commercial use.

Booking Conditions 

All bookings made on this Site are subject to the relevant supplier's/tour operator's booking conditions in addition to these Site conditions. For our booking conditions please click here.  For relevant Suppliers booking conditions, these can usually be found at the bottom of a payment page.  We recommend that you print a copy of the applicable booking conditions when making a booking. Booking conditions contain limitations and exclusions of liability, and cancellation and amendment charges are payable if a booking is cancelled or amended after it has been confirmed.

Hotel Ratings

The rating shown is the tour operator's own rating or the rating provided to us by our 3rd party suppliers. It’s intended as a guide for comparison purposes and an attempt to give a guide to the overall quality of properties. These ratings are usually based on the views taken from customer feedback and of senior managers in both the UK and overseas. Where applicable, official ratings are given by the authorities in the country, and do tend to give a fair impression of relative standards within that country. However, different countries have different standards; so don't assume that a 3-star hotel in one country is equivalent to a 3-star hotel in another.

Security and Credit Card Fraud Contingency

We have implemented a bank approved encryption system to protect your transactions with us. Any personal details entered including credit card payments will automatically be encrypted using VeriSign Secure Socket Layer (SSL). You will see a padlock symbol at the bottom of your screen to confirm this so you can make your purchase online with complete confidence.

Please make sure that you have supplied us with the correct credit card billing information. If you do not supply the correct credit or debit card billing address and/or cardholder information, the issue of your tickets may be delayed and the overall cost may increase. We do reserve the right to cancel tickets after issue if payment is declined or if you have supplied incorrect credit card information. In addition, we also reserve the right to do random checks (including the electoral roll) in order to minimise credit card fraud. As a result of this, before issuing tickets we may require you to provide us with a fax or postal copy of proof of address, as well as a copy of your credit card and a recent statement.

Please see the booking conditions of the tour or cruise operator or company providing your travel arrangements for details of any financial protection that applies to any booking you make on this website. Your level of protection will vary depending on whether you’ve booked a package holiday or made your own arrangements. 

My Account Usage Conditions

Account creation

1) You can create an online account at any time, whether or not you have a booking, simply by providing an email address and password.
2) Accounts registered from most locations on site must be activated via email, before you can log in.
3) Your account, once created and activated, can be used on, and to log into the UK Companion App.
4) You are responsible for all activity on your account, and for keeping your password safe and secure

Adding a booking

Travellers will be able to add and view details of current and past Thomas Cook packages in My Account, whether the booking was made online, over the phone, or in a retail store.

Add your booking by logging in to your account, navigating to My Bookings, and entering the Lead Pax surname and 8 digit booking reference.

We regret that other booking types, such as Cruise, FlexibleTrips and City Trips, or Flight Only bookings, or bookings made via 3rd party agents, cannot currently be added to My Account.

If you register for the first time, or log in, from the booking confirmation page, the Thomas Cook package booking just made, will be automatically added to your account.

You can also remove your booking from view in your account. Please note this will not cancel or otherwise affect the booking, and it can be added again.


You can use Wishlist to save up to 10 holidays in your account, ready to view again next time you log in.

These holidays will remain in your Wishlist until you remove them, or until they become unavailable.

The availability of saved holidays may change and the prices of saved holidays may go up and down.  You will be shown the most up to date availability and price each time you view the holiday but this may change at any time before a booking is made.

Wishlists can be forwarded via email to yourself or to friends.
The holiday prices in Wishlist emails reflect the price at the time the email is sent.

Adding Extras

If available, you will be able to add selected extras to your booking.
These need to be paid for at the point of selection (i.e. they are not added to an outstanding balance).

Extras cannot be removed or refunded from a booking via My Account. Please contact us if you do need to make any changes to your booking or any extras added.

Site personalisation

If you are logged into My Account, we may provide personalised recommendations to you onsite, such as holidays or extras tailored to you, based on the information we hold about you in our marketing database.
You may be able, when logged in, to use your saved My Account personal details to fill in forms on our site(s), such as the Passenger Details pages when making a booking.

We may also store selected information about your onsite behaviour (e.g. the holidays you searched for or viewed, or items added to your Wishlist) in order to personalise the website or other communications channels.

Account deletion

You can delete your online account at any time by logging in, and selecting ‘delete account’ in the ‘Account Details’ section.
Deleting your online account will not affect any bookings you’ve made.
You’ll be able to create another account with the same email address if you wish, but any previous bookings or Wishlist items will not carry over to the new account.
