FREE KIDS PLACES

There are a limited number of holidays available where the first child is free (plus any applicable supplements). These are available at selected properties when sharing a room with at least two full paying adults, on selected dates on flights with Thomas Cook Airlines. These places are very popular and go quickly, so make sure you book early. There are limited first child places available that are free and when these have sold out we will offer the first child our lowest available current child price at the time of enquiry. Tour Operator Full Standard Deposit

The current full standard deposit amounts applicable to Thomas Cook, Airtours and Manos package holidays are shown. (These amounts can change so if you’ve previously booked please check your documentation for the amounts payable).

Short Haul: Full Deposit £200 per customer**

Medium Haul: Full Deposit £200 per customer**

Long Haul: Full Deposit £250 per customer**
**Any traveller aged 2 years or over.

Even if you cancel your booking prior to the date on which the remainder of the Full Deposit must be paid, you will still be liable to pay the remainder of the Full Deposit (because a cancellation charge equal to the Full Deposit amount is the minimum cancellation fee that will apply), and payment of that sum will become due immediately when you instruct us to cancel your booking. If you fail to pay the remainder of the Full Deposit by the due date, we will be entitled to cancel your booking and you will then be liable to pay the remainder of the Full Deposit to us.
Deposit amounts payable for other holidays, cruises and travel services will vary. You will be advised of the current applicable deposit on the payment page of the travel services you select.

Low deposit scheme 

On selected Thomas Cook, Airtours or Manos branded package holidays, you may be offered the option to pay a Low or Reduced Deposit (referred to in these conditions as a “Low Deposit”).  Where you choose this option, the following terms and conditions apply.  Making a Low Deposit payment shall mean you (the Lead Name on the booking) have accepted these conditions for yourself and each member of your party. Please read these terms and conditions carefully.

You agree to pay, the difference between the Low Deposit and the Full Deposit (shown below), 8 weeks after booking, followed by the remaining balance of your holiday 14 weeks before departure.

The current Low Deposit and Full Deposit amounts payable are shown below.(These amounts can change so if you’ve previously booked please check your documentation for the amounts payable).

Short Haul: Low Deposit: of £75 per person (Full Deposit £200 per customer**)

Medium Haul: Low Deposit: of £75 per person (Full Deposit £200 per customer**)

Long Haul: Low Deposit: of £125 per person* (Full Deposit £250 per customer**)

*The Low Deposit is payable for the first child only, subsequent children do not pay this deposit but will be required to pay the Full Deposit after 8 weeks.  The Low Deposit is payable even if the first child price is less than £75 – any payment exceeding the first child price will be reduced from your final balance payment due 14 weeks before departure.

£0 (Zero) Deposit when you pay by Direct Debit

•If you decide to pay by Direct Debit instalments, you can take advantage of our no deposit ("Zero Deposit") promotion. The current standard full tour operator deposit amounts are listed in the section above headed ‘Tour Operator Full Standard Deposit’. Where you choose this option, the following terms and conditions apply in addition to the full terms and conditions for payment by Direct Debit instalments. Booking at a Zero Deposit means you (the Lead Name on the booking) have accepted these conditions for yourself and each member of your party. Please read these terms and conditions carefully.
 
• If you don’t set up the Direct Debit instalments, then to avoid the risk of your booking being cancelled, you must contact us without delay to arrange to pay by another means. Failing to set up your Direct Debit means you’ll no longer qualify for a Zero Deposit and you must immediately pay the full standard tour operator deposit (£200 per person, or £250 per person for long haul holidays) by card or cash.
 
• If you set up your instalments, but your Direct Debit is subsequently cancelled by you, or by us, before the amount you’ve paid is at least equal to the tour operator’s standard deposit, you must contact us without delay to arrange to pay by another means. Cancellation of your Direct Debit means you’ll no longer qualify for a Zero Deposit and you must immediately pay the remainder of the tour operator’s standard deposit by card or cash.

Price Match Guarantee

*Price match guarantee applies only to new bookings made on thomascook.com for package holidays operated by Thomas Cook Tour Operations Ltd that include flights with Thomas Cook Airlines. If, after booking with us, you find the same Thomas Cook package holiday for less on another travel agent's website, we will match the price.  The holiday must be identical and available to book, and the other travel agent cannot be part of the Thomas Cook group.  You must provide us with a genuine online quote  within 24 hours of booking with us. The price match promise is against the total basic holiday cost excluding optional extras and credit card fees. Price match does not apply to any Thomas Cook holidays that include flights on an airline other than Thomas Cook Airlines or to Thomas Cook Cruise & Stay holidays (separate Cruise Price Match Guarantee may apply). Flexi-Book

Available with selected holidays for small fee, payable at the time you book your holiday, Flexi Book option gives you the flexibility to change your holiday up to 8 days before departure without having to pay any amendment fees.  Only one amendment per booking is permitted. If you include Flexi Book on a booking that was made using a zero deposit (Direct Debit) promotion, you cannot make any changes to your booking until the cost of Flexi Book and the full tour operator deposit has been paid.

Flexi Book (previously called ‘Flexible Terms/Flexible Booking’) is only available on selected charter package holidays and can only be booked outside of 56 days  before departure and at time of booking or the following day. It is only valid if taken by all customers on a booking, including any customers subsequently added to a booking and is redeemable against a single amendment per customer. It is not transferable between customers on a booking, is non-refundable and is additional to the holiday deposit and cannot be used to re-book the same holiday at a different price.

Up to 29 days before departure you can change your holiday date by up to 6 months later than your original departure date, but within 8-28 days before departure you can only change to an earlier departure date, or within the same departure week as your original departure date.Changes must be made outside of 7 days before departure, and if a holiday is changed under this offer, and the current system price for the new holiday arrangements is higher than your current booking then the difference will need to be paid, with the exception of a name change which does not alter the holiday price. If you make a change between 8-28 days of your departure (and between 8-84 days if your original booking was to a long haul destination) there will be no price reductions applied, and any increase in price for your new arrangements will need to be paid.

If the new holiday arrangements are booked as a 'Late Holiday', then the 'Late Holidays' Terms and Conditions would then apply to the booking.

Cruises

Cruise - Free Onboard Spending Money

When free onboard spending money is included on the website or in a search it is per stateroom and not per person and will only apply to selected sailings unless otherwise stated.

Cruise -  Accessible / Disabled Cabins

This cabin type has limited availability and should only be booked by those passengers that qualify. Please note that the Cruise Line may choose to change your selected cabin without notice if occupying passengers do not qualify for the accessible / disabled cabin. Any additional cost incurred with changing cabin or cancellation due to incorrect cabin selection will be the sole responsibility of the customer.  Please call our call centre is you are unsure whether you qualify for this type of cabin.

Both offers apply to bookings for selected Thomas Cook or Airtours package holidays to Florida staying between 1st January -  7th April 2019 or 26th April – November 2019 that include accommodation at a participating Walt Disney World Resort Hotel and Disney Park Tickets.   For stays between 17th September – 30th November 2019, the choice of participating Disney Resort Hotels is reduced.    All suites, 3 bed villas, Disney’s Grand Floridian Villas and Disney’s Polynesian Village Bungalows are excluded from these offers.   Free Disney Dining Plan varies by Disney Resort Hotel but includes the minimum of free breakfast at Disney Value Resort Hotels. 2. The prize draw is open to all UK residents aged 18 years or over, except employees of the Thomas Cook Group Plc, their immediate families, agents or any third party directly associated with administration of the prize draw.
 
How to enter
 
3. The prize draw is free to enter and no purchase is necessary.  
 
4. All entries must be submitted through Thomas Cook’s Twitter page only  www.twitter.com/ThomasCookUK and only one entry per person is permitted.
 
5. To enter the prize draw all you need to do is comment using the hashtag #GreekGetaway on any Thomas Cook Twitter page post posted between the hours of 10am and 6pm on the date of the prize draw activity (28/09/18). 
 
6. Any comments will be rejected, removed from the site, and/or will not be entered in to the prize draw if those comments:

• refer to a complaint or negative service

The Prize
 
12. The winner will receive a Thomas Cook package holiday to selected destinations in Greece worth up to £1,000, flying with Thomas Cook Airlines.  The winner can choose to stay in either Corfu, Crete, Kalamata, Kefalonia,  Kos, Lesbos, Mykonos, Olympus Riviera, Parga, Rhodes, Santorini, Skiathos, Thassos, Zante. In the event that the holiday chosen by the winner costs more than £1,000, the difference in cost will need to be paid in full by the winner at the time of booking.  In the event that the holiday costs less than £1000, there will be no refund due to the winner.          
 
13. Travel and stay must be completed by 31 October 2019.
 
14. The prize doesn’t include travel insurance, the cost of transfers to and from airports or stations in the UK, food and drink, spending money, taxes payable in resort or at the hotel, which includes deposits and resort fees, or personal expenses.  Any other costs incurred in addition to those set out above and that are incidental to the fulfilment of the prize are the responsibility of the winner.
 
15. The winner is responsible for ensuring that they and the person travelling with them will be available to travel and that each holds a valid passport, any necessary visa, adequate travel insurance for the holiday and submitted advanced passenger information (API) in advance of travel, so as to be able to travel on their chosen travel date.
 
16. The holiday must be booked by 28 February 2019 and is subject to availability until the booking has been confirmed by Thomas Cook and you are in receipt of a booking reference.  
 
17. The Promoter reserves the right to replace the prize with an alternative prize of equal or higher value if circumstances beyond the Promoter's control makes it necessary to do so. 
 
18. There’s no cash or other alternative to the prize, and it must be taken as offered.  The winner must be one of those who travels on the holiday.
 
19. Once the booking is confirmed no changes to the booking are permitted, with the exception of clause 20 below.  Thomas Cook Tour Operations Ltd booking conditions will apply to the booking in addition to these prize draw terms and conditions.  The booking conditions are available on request or can be viewed at www.thomascook.com
 
20. Once the booking is confirmed, any requests to alter the booking will be subject to availability and will incur an amendment fee on top of any additional cost, both of which will need to be paid for by the winner at the time of any amendment.
 
 
Winner announcement & claiming the prize
 
21. The winner will be notified via Twitter direct message (using details provided at entry) before 5 October 2018.  If the winner doesn’t respond to the Promoter within 7 days of being notified, then the winner's prize will be forfeited and the Promoter will be entitled to select another winner in accordance with the process described above.
 
22. The decision of the Promoter regarding any aspect of the prize draw is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into about it. 
 
23. If the winner of the prize draw agrees to their name/county being announced, details will be published on Thomas Cook’s Twitter page by 26 October 2018 (Announcement Date).
 
Data protection and publicity
 
24. The Promoter may ask the winner to participate in reasonable promotion  and publicity around the prize win.  
 
25. Personal data supplied during the course of this promotion may be passed on to third party suppliers only insofar as required for fulfilment/delivery/arrangement of the prize.
 
General
 
26. This prize draw is not sponsored, endorsed or administered by Twitter or any other social media sites and participants agree that none of these organisations have any liability for the operation of this promotion or supply of the prize.  
 
27. Participants are deemed to have accepted and agreed to be bound by these terms and conditions upon entry. The Promoter reserves the right to refuse entry, or refuse to award the prize to anyone in breach of these terms and conditions. 
 
28. Insofar as is permitted by law, the Promoter, its agents or distributors will not in any circumstances be responsible or liable to compensate the winner or accept any liability for any loss, damage, personal injury or death occurring as a result of taking up the prize except where it is caused by the negligence of the Promoter, its agents or distributors or that of their employees.
