Clean room, helpful staff, easy check in, decent view. Shower products smelt great.... Also enjoyed the morning pastries and free coffee ready in the morning. Would recommend for a relaxing experience.
My husband and I recently stayed at The James NoMad prior to flying to Hawaii the following day. We had an exceptional stay and experience at this cozy, safe and secure boutique hotel in the Nomad area of NYC. The location was ideal as the hotel is close to all major public transportation hubs including many subway lines, making all parts of the city easily accessible, not to mention the ease at which the doorman happily hailed a taxi to the airport for us the next morning. Contrary to what we’ve heard about the current state of NYC, the Nomad area was bustling with locals enjoying outside dining and everything felt very safe, even during our evening walk home from dinner.
We arrived in the early afternoon to open arms and many smiling faces wholeheartedly welcoming us to the hotel. We have never experienced such a warm and genuine appreciation for choosing a hotel as we did at The James NoMad and it really set the tone for an amazing stay!
Upon check-in we were advised of the health and safety protocols which throughout our stay made us feel very safe and secure at all times. During check-in there was no transfer of a credit card which was nice. There were hand sanitizer stations at all elevator banks and scattered throughout the hotels public space which was a great measure. The protocol that gave us the most confidence was that each guest room door is completely sealed after being inspected and sanitized by housekeeping staff. We literally had to peel the seal off to access our room and it felt good knowing that no person had entered the room after it was sanitized. All in all, we had a great stay and want to encourage fellow travelers to stay at The James NoMad and visit the ever-energetic NYC!
My husband and I had a great two night stay! The rooms were very clean and had complimentary wipes and sanitizers. The hotel staff was always available, helpful and kind. We enjoyed the complimentary coffee and baked goods from a neighborhood bakery in the mornings. Overall, enjoyable stay and would highly recommend for great hospitality and comfort.
