We just returned from another Anniversary trip to Vegas and I must say with everything going on in the world today it was a fantastic stay. Check in was a breeze and everything was smooth as usual this was our 6th stay at the Encore and I must say they are consistent. If you get a chance to stay do it you won’t regret it. Until the next Vegas visit thanks again Wynn Encore!!!!
We always love staying at the Encore. The rooms and service are always wonderful. During times of COVID, they are taking extra precautions with additional security checkpoint, temperature checks, mask mandates and social distancing. Most of our time was spend in the room but we did go down to have a couple drinks. We stayed on a Sunday night and there were limited restaurants open. Restaurants need to be reserved in advance. This was a last minute trip so we didn't look into restaurants until we arrived and by that time there were very limited options. I would suggest others book in advance.
We were originally supposed to be at the Palazzo at the Venetian. They closed it before we came without telling us. When we got there they switched us to a room and charged us for an upgrade to a “view”. The room was a huge disappointment. We looked up the Encore and Wynn rooms and saw that one of their amazing rooms was costing us the same as the room at The Venetian so we made the switch. I cannot express how worth it that was. We accidentally checked in on the Wynn side and the front desk person got us into our room earlier with no extra charge so we could leave the Venetian sooner. The view was absolutely amazing. We were on the 60th floor instead of the 14th at the Venetian. The room at the Encore felt clean and luxurious. The restaurants were amazing. A little pricey but worth every penny. We had breakfast at Jardin both mornings. Everything was delicious, especially their hash browns, which were really unique. We had dinner at Lakeside. We sat outdoors and there was a light show throughout our dinner. The restaurant staff at both places was wonderful. At lakeside we never had to flag someone down. When my friend dropped a fork, they were right there with a new one before she even asked. We were asked about any food allergies before every meal. We constantly saw several people cleaning everything - even wiping down the insides of the elevators. They took cleaning very seriously and customer service very seriously. It really turned our trip around and made it special.
