I've stayed in this hotel for 2 weeks with my brother and we simply loved it. The hotel looks amazing, and everybody who works there is too. The servants from the breakfast (like Bayu), the receptionists (incl Yassien and Tuti), the pool bar personnel and the lifeguards are super friendly. Even the girls from the in house massage service are very friendly.
The hotel has a great location, nearby the city centre/Burj Khalifa, Sheikh Zayed Road, the beach (incl. La Mer) and you can be anywhere in an instant with a lot of taxi's always nearby.
The hotel room was allright, the bathroom was fantastic and very luxurious. But with Dubai temperatures you won't spent a lot of time in your room anyways.
The rooftop swimming pool was allright, but it had too little beds ready for customers. If you didn't set your alarm for breakfast, you probably didn't get a bed at the pool.
The hotel also offers a car rental service with another company. My advise is to not do this. We had a car rental through this company, but our car (Mazda 6) wasn't good. Shaky bumpers, end of their life springs and it looked cheap too. We later rented another Mazda 6 through a big rental company (grean logo) and that car was fantastic, and for the same daily price.
Next time I'll visit Dubai, I probably won't even look for other hotels. 10/10 would recommend.
This is an older 5star rated hotel a little dated. It offers huge discounts and represents good value, but we would not have stayed had we known the following. It is far from anything of interest, even the metro is a 9 min drive. There was only 1 vegetarian meal available in the 2 restaurants. There are just 13 sunbeds for this large hotel so arrive early or be prepared to wait. At the pool dance music blasts out all day long. Cigarettes were stubbed out on the floor, toenails being clipped, shouting from one end of the pool to the other, nobody showered before entering the pool and most disturbing, very few masks were worn. All of this was mentioned to the duty manager but nothing changed, although they did speak to a guest who was taking photos of young ladies in their bikinis. It would appear the such generous discounts attracts a different quality of guest.
Very pleasant stay, extremely reasonable for the price, the included breakfast was also great, will stay again. The location was ideal so we could get to both Dubai centre and the beach with ease. Definitely recommended
