I checked in at 7 pm asking for a late check out, which was told is possible till 6pm next day .
I walked into my room - wanting to call room service , the phone wasn’t working - so had to use my mobile to place room service order . They tell me there is a menu in the room ( and it wasn’t there ) it took them 20 min to send me the menu . Meantime I go for a shower and my bath tub water drainer was blocked so the entire water got collected . I finally order for a veg biryani. I get delivered a chicken biryani . I close the curtain of my room. The entire curtain railing collapses and falls on the floor ..
Next day at. 2 pm I get a call that I must check out right now as that’s it for the late check out !
Horrible horrible horrible !!! Would never suggest this hotel to anyone !
I stayed at the hotel for a month. The stay was absolutely amazing . All the hotel staff were on point

After staying at the original hotel 20 years ago, we thought we would return to the new metropolitan,
We have stayed in many 4 -5 star hotels in the Middle East and worldwide and we would like to say the staff are amazing and the breakfast was extremely good
The hotel is modern bright and extremely clean
Constant cleaning throughout all public areas
The room is of high standard modern and well equipped the bed is extremely comfortable
The air conditioner works well
And the tv has a selection of European channels and films
We would like to thank Bernice in the restaurant and the chefs for excellent services.
The egg station chef makes a great omelette.
The pool is well serviced and immaculate and there is a option of using the beach at the habtoor grand
Special thanks to the bellboy aravind on concierge department for special help with trips and taxis
We ate at the restaurants the Italian was fantastic and the service was beyond exceptional
We would like to say this hotel is a amazing 4 star property it has 5 star service and rooms it is a credit to the habtoor group
The hotel can’t be faulted The best mid range hotel in Dubai
The close proximity to the metro and mall of emirates is a bonus
The room had a balcony facing the burj with fantastic views to the rear of the property
