Only managed to get a eleven day stay this year, but enjoyed it all. from the warm welcome from Rachel and the team when we arrived, after the necessary Covid checks to the stunning views in the lobby bar and our room. Yes the hotel was not able to offer things in the way it had on our last visit but the friendly and helpful staff did their very best in what has been a difficult time. Lots of restrictions in place to ensure guests and staff are safe, whilst still providing the excellent service we have come to expect.
Bilal and his team ensured that our al A la carte meals both Chinese and Turkish were very special nights.
In the Blue bar the Singer kept us entertained and Sezgin and his team kept us hydrated with a real good choice of drinks both alcoholic and non alcoholic.
Days on the beach where chill days and the guys at the beach again could not help enough from cold beers to the endless clearing up they did.
We hired a Pavilion and Sugar(sorry if spelling not correct) looked after us all day from drinks to lunch, ice creams and fruit plate, nothing was too much trouble for him.
Lunch at the pool bar had changed but there was still excellent food to be had from the pizza, chips and burgers to the pasta and chicken. Also the hotel patisserie had been moved nearer to reception area and this served cakes and sandwiches during the day.
Last but not least our room was fantastic again, it was sea view on the third floor but there is no point having a great view if you don’t have a clean room and I have to say a big thank you to everyone who looked after the rooms in block 5 you all did a excellent job, from stocking the fridge to the cleaning of the rooms could not have asked for anything more.
The hotel makes the most of the stunning views and the staff make sure you enjoy your stay, they are a real credit to the hotel.
The hotel looked lovely when we arrived. We had a family suite and it was spacious and the bed was very comfortable but there was no flat sheet on all our beds. I found that astonishing. My niece called and asked for the sheets and it took ages for them to bring the sheets and the next day they were taken away. The toilet could have been fresher and on Sunday our room was not cleaned at all.
Now for the good. As I said spacious rooms, comfortable beds. Amazing views. Beautiful scenery, amazing beach and clear water. I enjoyed the food there was lots of variety an amazing array of vegetable dishes and beautiful fruit. The fridge is dilled with water and soft drinks at no extra cost. Room service is available at a minimal cost. The spa lookes nice but I didn't get to use it.
We didn't get to eat in the a la carte restaurants because they were fully booked.
The staff are friendly and helpful. If these few issues are addressed it can be an amazing hotel.
Had big expectations from this hotel -don’t know where to start. Same cold food everyday. Rooms not cleaned properly. Beach sand is painful to walk on (not soft sand). Beach bar is no good. Stupid Hotel Hair dresser cut me everywhere while doing my beard without using shaving gel and still had the guts to ask me (beg me) for more money. They had an entertainment time table for the hotel arena and disco for evenings but whenever we went to the arena people where there but nothing was happening. So what’s the point of having a plan if you are not going to follow it? Also timetable for waterpark was not followed. Games and billiard room was closed throughout our stay. Steam room was also out of order. The beautiful pavilions cannot be booked for a couple hours only full day which is very expensive. I could go on and on but think that you guys got the point- PLEASE AVOID!!
PS: Sellers in Maramris will forcefully try sell their goods and are very disrespectful when you don’t buy.
Antaliya/Side was a much better experience.
