Jiva Beach is an eco-friendly resort built around a spectacular 5000m2 natural lagoon, complete with fish, turtles and lotus. A lively pool area hosts a programme of fun and games for the whole family but if that’s not your scene there’s also an outdoor Jacuzzi® and a quiet indoor pool, just for over 14s. If you prefer to relax while viewing the open sea and rugged mountains then you can take advantage of the private beach area.
There's no shortage of activities at Jiva Beach Resort with air hockey, billiards, climbing, mini golf, beach volleyball, boccia and darts all on offer. If that wasn't enough there's also an aqua park with five slides and organised aerobics, yoga and Zumba sessions. Meanwhile the young guests can splash around in the children’s pool or join the kids’ club. In the evening sit back and relax at the amphitheatre, where the programme includes acrobatic shows, dancing and Turkish nights.
The Acacia Restaurant is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The buffet dishes are rotated daily, to ensure you’re given the opportunity to sample a wide range of delicious foods. A waiter will come around and serve the refreshing beverage of your choice. If you want to enjoy a light meal in the sun, you may choose to have lunch at the poolside snack bar. For a romantic evening meal choose between the two a la cartes that offer a range of Turkish specialities, accompanied by a view of the beautiful sunset over the lagoon. If you get hungry or thirsty in the middle of the night, then drop into the 24-hour Lukka Lounge. The poolside bar is open from 10am to midnight, while in the evening there’s the additional option of Lagoon Bar.
Standard rooms are equipped with air conditioning (centrally controlled), a balcony, 32” TV, safe, makeup mirror, plus tea & coffee making facilities. The family option features a second bedroom with two single beds. Upgrades include suites (with a living room) and swim-up rooms.
Jiva Beach Resort is just an 8km drive from the ancient ruins in Fethiye. These include a castle, theatre and rock tombs. A visit to the local museum gives an insight into bygone times. If you’re a shopaholic, head a couple of kilometres further east to the mall. Admirers of natural beauty should make the 50km journey to Saklikent National Park. Here, the gorge is 18km long, making it the largest canyon in Turkey and one of the biggest in the world.
