Pleasantly surprised and happy when first seeing the hotel. Some of the comments on TA are a bit harsh. Check in was great and swift, welcome glass of champagne a nice touch. Taken straight to our room, spotless and spacious. Great bed. Air con worked all day every day. Food in restaurant good, not Michelin star but ideal for a weeks holiday. Plenty of choice. Lots of fresh fruit.
Alcohol was poor as included in our package was local alcohol. The champagne was the best out of the wines.
Then Red, Rose and a very sharp white coming in last. We never hit the pool area, straight to the beach everyday. The entertainment at night was poor. Kicked off at 9pm. The Turkish themed entertainment one night was like a kindergarten doing their best impression of riverdance. A lot of German Russian and polish people in the hotel. No issue as everyone was very decent. All in all a great week in a comfy hotel.
THE POOREST HOTEL
- Service is good. They bring anything to your sunbed. But anything means : coffee, local bad drink or a cookie.
- Conclusion: they take tourists money and spend almost nothing
Hotel deserving maximum 3 stars (for cleanliness). In the second line, facing the back of another hotel. From the room, which was supposed to be a "sea view", a good view of the pools and hotel facilities from the first line and finally the sea ... Average food, never enough. The worst coffee I've ever had. The wine is poor as is the service and their knowledge of English. They don't even have enough glasses for wine - and this is supposed to be 5 stars? At reception only one person speaks decent German.
There's no well educated manager at this hotel and the same is the whole staff. Strongly not recommended.
