The design of this 5 star All Inclusive resort is inspired by the lost city of Atlantis. With five outdoor swimming pools with a total area of 4,500m2, the hotel is surrounded by water. And it’s not just pools either, as there’s numerous outdoor Jacuzzis® for when you want to take it easy. A private beach provides the perfect area to get a dose of vitamin D. Or if you want to keep active there’s banana boating, jet skiing, surfing and sailing, as well as four waterslides.
There’s a full animation programme for the kids (aged 4-12), as well as a teen club for the 13-17 year olds. If you’re visiting in winter, you may prefer to take a dip in the indoor pool or undertake a workout in the gym. At the spa there’s the option of relaxing in the sauna or booking a Thai massage. End the day by watching a family friendly show, where the cast includes professional dancers.
The main Pinea restaurant dishes up Mediterranean and Turkish foods in buffet form. Plus, there’s a total of six a la cartes- the Turkish and Italian options are open year round. In summer you are also able to treat yourself to delicious Far Eastern, spicy Mexican and fresh fish dishes. Two bars serve snacks and light bites in high season. Maybe have a light lunch on the beach or devour a mid-afternoon pide. When it’s time to grab a cool beverage you’ll find six bars (three are closed in low season), so you can choose whether to chill with a cocktail on the beach or to enjoy a beer while listening to a live music performance.
Even the basic room option at Limak Atlantis provides a massive 30m2 of space. Choose between twin and Queen beds, while the sofa can convert into an additional bed. A cot can also be accommodated, allowing a family of four that includes a toddler to stay in these rooms. If your little one’s toddling days are behind them, book the standard room instead. Whichever option you book you’ll benefit from a balcony, 24 hour room service and a minibar.
Within Belek you will find golf courses and sandy beaches. The town centre is a 4km drive or bus ride away. Here, the impressive 19th century stone clock tower and the minarets act as useful navigational aids. While you’re in the area you shouldn’t miss the open air Sandland museum to the east of Antalya. This is where sculptors show off their skills using sand to mould an impressive range of creatures. At night they are illuminated using all colours of the rainbow, creating the perfect conditions for taking a selfie with a lion, mermaid or knight.
