Eftalia Village is a family-friendly hotel near the town of Konakli, on the southern coast of Turkey. It's steps away from the beach, where you'll find a long stretch of sand with views over the mountainous coastal landscape and the Mediterranean Sea. Last renovated in 2016, the hotel is surrounded by tree-lined gardens and set in 12 modern buildings. They're designed in a style that reflects traditional Turkish architecture, with red roofs and pastel exteriors. There are five outdoor pools at Eftalia Village, including a slide pool and a kids' pool that also has a slide. If you like to stay active on holiday, you can join in hotel-run activities like fitness classes, aqua aerobics, basketball, football, beach volleyball, tennis and darts. You can also visit the gym for a workout. The hotel has a spa where you can relax with a massage or in the sauna and Turkish bath. At Eftalia Village you can enjoy all of your meals at the buffet restaurant, which offers outdoor seating. There are three bars serving local wine, beer, spirits and soft drinks throughout the day and into the evening. After a day beside the pool, you can unwind with entertainment organised by the hotel.
Eftalia Village is 100m from bustling Eftalia Island beach, and a 5km drive from the centre of Konakli. Here you'll find a long sandy beach and plenty of oceanfront restaurants and bars serving Turkish specialities. You can browse local shops selling gifts, souvenirs and handmade goods, or taste traditional baklava from a bakery. Hiking up the Taurus Mountains is a popular tourist activity in Konakli and gives you elevated views over the coastal landscape. Further afield, the city of Antalya lies west along the coast from Eftalia Village. On a day trip here you can explore the harbour, discover the region's history or browse markets and boutiques.
Eftalia Village's buffet restaurant offers breakfast, lunch and dinner. You can enjoy local Turkish food and popular international dishes. There's also a patisserie where you can grab snacks during the day. There's a poolside bar, so you can relax with a drink on your lounger.
The hotel runs clubs for kids aged 4 to 12 and teens aged 13 to 16. They can enjoy activities like water polo and foam parties.
Rooms at Eftalia Village are airy and modern, with touches of Turkish style. They all have a balcony or terrace, a minibar, a TV and air conditioning.

Staff pleasant, rooms basic, food appauling, bars and snacks rules confusing. One bar for some drinks another bar for different drinks sometimes a good 5 min walk away from each other. The resort was in the middle of nowhere and it was over 250 lira to get to the nearest town of Alanya and back. We were given this resort as a last minute change to our booking as the original hotel we had booked had not reopened.
Returned from a 10 day holiday in Eftalia Village hotel, a group of 3 couples ranging in ages from 50 to 21, so quite an range of expectations and preferences and the only thing we can find to complain about is the lack of fans in the pool bar & outdoor area of the restaurant!!!
Basic = yes!
Clean = yes!
Comfy = yes!
For the amount of time we spend in the room, this is all we ever ask for!!
Large room, lots of sleeping options (so would be great for a family too)
Could they have a refurbishment? Yes of course, and yes this would help with the repairs that have been done over time, and also help with the minor details that most people see as dirt.
Was there a full English = No - we were not in England!
Was there sticky toffee pudding = No - we were not in England
Was there chips = yes! Most days but they have to please the masses!!!
The food was delicious, it was always hot, fresh and well cooked.
There was plenty of choice and lots of variety each day.
I would say, if you can’t find something to eat here, then stay at home!
And all of this whilst having to wear masks all of the time. To be honest I’m not sure how any of them do it with how rude the vast majority of guests were with them. Yes, they are there to serve you, but No, they are not slaves!
Please remember to take your manners with you on holiday guys, I was shocked with how many people didn’t seem to have packed theirs during our stay.
Also, being polite goes a long way with the team, it means you’re greeted with a massive smile (you could tell from their eyes, since their masks covered their mouths) and they look after you because you appreciate them!
Yes they are served in small glasses - but some of our party took larger glasses of their own and they happily filled them for us.
There is a fairly limited stock of all inclusive drinks, but you can pay to have cocktails or premium drinks - pretty standard for an all inclusive really.
Something for everyone really!
Loved the main pool by the bar personally but if we had taken kids the kids pool would be great.
The island was an added bonus but we were happiest at the resort
- hand sanitizer readily available
In summary, we felt very safe and secure during our time here. It was almost a case of “corona who?”
It is the best hotel we’ve ever been to? No!
Was it good value for money? Yes!
Would we come back?
Yes but not for a couple of years just down to other plans
A great holiday for a family of 8. Something for everyone. The hotel is clean, friendly, and welcoming. The staff are all very friendly, special mention to waiter ‘Ahmet’ who was so helpful and reserved us a table in the restaurant every morning and night so we could sit together and even decorated it on our last morning- a lovely man. There is something for everyone here. The water slides are great for the kids, the island being a real highlight. We have stayed at Splash 5 years ago and loved having the island then so were happy to come again and stay in this sister property which was equally as good and closer to the island. The maids were lovely and left towel art on the beds each day which the kids loved. The food is good, varied - not as much choice as usual due to coronavirus and has to be served to you but I am vegetarian and have one fussy child and none of us struggled to find enough to eat. The pirate ship boat trip was a real highlight as was the market - which they now have outside the hotel as well as in Alanya. Great fun to do a bit of haggling and well worth it, got some great souvenirs and gifts. Overall a fantastic family holiday and so happy to get away during current times.
