Stayed for the first and last night of our Ramblers group walking holiday. The hotel is in a very good location as it is situated in the historic Old Town area of Antalya.
The hotel is opposite the Ethnographic museum and a few minutes to the harbour area. There are lots of shops, market stalls and places to eat in the area. As there is not a lot of traffic by the hotel it is quiet in the evening.
The rooms are in the main building and the annexe, the first night we were in the annexe and our second night in the main building. We found the room in the main building to be a lot better as we had a larger room and a balcony looking across to the museum.
There is a small courtyard area between the main building and the annexe and a nice lounge just off this in the main building. There is also a small pool. There are plenty of nice little places to sit around in the hotel.
We had both our breakfasts and evening meals at the hotel and they were very good, tasty food and a good choice. We found the staff to be friendly and helpful.
Would recommend if wanting to stay in the Old Town,
An absolutely amazing hotel with the most hospitable staff.
My friend and I both loved the the ambiance and location of Aspen. It is perfect for exploring Antalya city and beyond. The views from our balcony room over the mountains and the old town were a treat as was our twin room. The shower was perfect and the beds comfortable. We loved the outdoor seating especially relaxing after lots of walking in the swing seat.
Thank you to all the staff for being so kind and approachable. Definitely a hotel I would stay at again.
What did I like: clean room, comfy bed, nice staff, great location, good atmosphere.
What didn’t I like: couldn’t open the windows beyond a couple of inches so the room was stuffy, the room was very small for two people, the shower head kept falling down which was frustrating trying to shower (but this can be fixed), the fridge didn’t work (I think the electric plug was not working).
