Pros: The reason I gave it a 4/5 and not a 3 is the price/performance ratio was well met and is really good if you're on a budget, nothing fancy but had all the basic appliances a 3 star hotel would have. I read some of the comments, You can't expect the facilities of 5 star hotel for the price of a 3 star one. Rooms were clean, mini-markets next door open till late at night, second room doesn't have an A/C but the other one is strong enough to keep the entire apartment in a reasonable temperature.
Cons: Even though the rooms are clean, it needs some serious maintenance. They have old furniture and appliances from the 80's, I was worried the entire time that anything could break and be blamed on us. Same for some of the facilities, the table tennis and billiards table was left under the rain and pretty much unusable (semi pro ping-pong player) The toilet needs stronger ventilation. The room we were in had a boring view of the next building. Has a mediocre swimming pool. It's in a quiet-ish part of town and far from the center (specially in hot weather), Cleopatra beach was a 10 minute walk away which is OK, but relatively further than most hotels. had to pay extra for the air conditioning, even though I realized many hotels in Alanya do this. some of the staff are pushy for you to buy stuff.
We got this tour from our travelagency on a 66% discount and if we had paid a penny more i'd say we'd been swindled. First of the poolarea is ok. Plenty of sunbeds, sun from 10:30 to 17:30. Decent pool from 170cm to 240cm deep, seems clean, it's icecold thou even in august. Some of the staff are nice. The balcony is ok. Those who get a balcony with poolview will have also have sun during the most of the day. And that's just about it for good things to say. So what about the bad things? 1. they change your towels every third day. 2. I'm not sure they changed sheets. 3. The bathroom is disgusting. The bathtub is cracked, with plenty of possibilities for bacteria to thrive. It's also much higher up than the floor so the step down from it might be hard for persons with disabilities. The bathroom door is ruined by water, god only knows what lives in that door concerning fungus and so on. 5 see picture of the electricity switch near the bathtub. 6. 5 euros a night for aircondition. The street outside is so noisy you can't sleep with the windows open. It's even hard with the windows shut, because they're hardly soundproof. 7. The kitchen sucks. 8. So does the sofas, full of stains from god knows what. 9 The breakfast. So cheap that you will not believe it. 10. The bar. In the bar different people take on the job as "dj" leading to a breakfast with shitloud music, what music? Breakfast; the hit ; face down a up thats the way we like to fk. Lunch ; turkish gangsterrap praising marihuana Dinner ; christmassongs!!!!. They even serve sexy drinks, or so they call it, named rape me, big d**k, orgasm and other things that are so out of style that you don't know wheter to cry or laugh. 11.free wifi, bandwith and speed do not exist so no wonder it's free. 12. Free shuttlebus to the beach, this might mean the barkeepers cousins run down ford escort, taxi, something that once was a taxi with a driver possibly planning suicide by car...new day new "shuttlebus". 13. Hotelmanager. And the list could go on and on. Please book another hotel, there are so many better choices in Alanya, Konakli , Side etc. This is by far the worst one ever!!!
We stayed there one night with my friends and will definitely not come back. Not even a hello when we arrived. No help with our luggage which were more than heavy enough for us. Very dirty towels with some yellow and brown stains on them. No toilet paper in the rooms, we needed to ask to get one. Breakfast not included in the price. Safe box not included. Everything is extra charged. We were so disgusted we did not even want to taste the food. Our checkout day, while waiting the plane, we wanted to go outside to visit, receptionist wouldn’t keep our luggage in the back office. « They don’t do that here ». So we needed to stay near our luggage until the bus arrives, for hours. Not a good representation at all of the Turkish people. TO AVOID! GO SOMEWHERE ELSE! Not a 3 but a 0 star.
