The Hotel is close to the beach, the hotel itself is passed its sell by date. Very dated and no entertainment in the establishment. Free pool table and that’s it.
Drinks are priced not too bad if you have local.
Breakfast: The same every day for two weeks: Coffee or Tea, Powdered Fruit Juice. A basket of bread. Two slices of cheese, one being different to the other slice. One slice of what you call meat? Cucumber, Tomato, horrible scrambled slimy egg on a plate. One portion of butter, one small packet of honey and a small packet of jam, both of which were like water. The breakfast was eaten on the pool side every day, In the end I got so feed up with the food some days I just had the coffee, fruit juice and bread and honey, it was then assumed I no longer wanted breakfast so if I didn’t ask for it, I didn’t get any.
Air Con: You have to pay. We suffered the heat for around a week after that and no sleep we paid to keep our rooms cool.
We had fans buy the breakfast table but after about 9 days these were removed so you had to eat your food in around 40 degrees as breakfast was outside, no inside eating area.
It was Raymond did out breakfast every day, he was in charge of the hotel by day as well. That was it apart from the cleaner and the DIY man.
Beware of Raymond as he can be very crafty into sending you to expensive places to buy items, as he did me saying a leather shop was cheaper than in the local shops.…
Unfortunately our return transfers were cancelled he said when he rang them for us, but said if we paid him 170 Lira, he would book us transfers back to the Airport on his card and we give him the cash which we did and they would pick us up at 7pm. Strange when our original operator came to collect us at 6pm. Raymond was then on his phone but we had to board our transfer coach. I emailed Raymond on the Hotel site asking for a refund, I have heard nothing since.
The rooms are very dated and even though the cleaner was very nice and friendly she only did our room about every 3 days and never came till around 4/5 pm to do the room. You have to ask Raymond or the Night Man for a Toilet Roll every time you need one!!!
The double bed was made up with two single sheets on the bottom and one double on the top, ripped in places and cotton throw over which didn’t even fit the bed… after getting air con and leaving it on overnight we decided to put one of the blankets on which was inside the wardrobe. It was disgusting with hairs all over it.
The bathroom towels were so old, lost their whiteness, looks like the floors have been cleaned with them, and more like a scrub towel. The settee had stains on it. The spare bed mattress cover was stained. The hairdryer in the bathroom was taped up badly, I didn't use it as thought it could be dangerous.
The patio door had a crack at the bottom.
On the last few days of our stay, someone came with a camera and was taking photos of the pool and all the sun loungers, umbrella’s which were placed accordingly and also a table had been made up for fine dining. Well it’s a shame we didn’t have anything like this so don’t take any notice of the photos you see in the advert, it’s all made up…
Location is close to the beach but you are up the quite end. The beach shelves quite steep and no good for children and the waves can be quite strong.
Be careful the beach bars don’t rip you off as they did us.
