Parkim Ayaz is a family-friendly hotel found on G¸mbet beach, a sandy and pebbly bay near Bodrum on Turkey's southern coast. Renovated in 2019, the hotel's modern, whitewashed buildings have details that reflect local Turkish style. They sit in gardens dotted with shrubs, with palm trees towering over the swimming pools. There are three outdoor pools at Parkim Ayaz, as well as two separate kids' pools. There's also a twisting water slide for kids to enjoy. When you need to cool down, you can enjoy refreshments from the hotel's four bars. One of these is a swim-up bar, so you can sip a drink while perched on a stool in the water. Parkim Ayaz has two a la carte restaurants, one serving Turkish food and the other offering Italian cuisine. If you fancy heading further afield, you could take a short stroll into Gumbet, where you'll find an array of bars and restaurants in an area that's popular with holidaymakers. If you're feeling energetic, you can join in with an exercise class at the hotel, spend an hour or two playing tennis or darts, or head to the gym. For some downtime, there's a Turkish bath, a sauna and a spa where you can be pampered with a massage or a pedicure.
The hotel is set in a lively area with bars and restaurants nearby. It's 500m from Parkim Ayaz to the centre of Gumbet, where you can relax on the beach or have a drink at a waterfront bar. In the evening, this resort takes on a party atmosphere. The ancient port city of Bodrum, with its narrow streets and whitewashed houses, is 4.5km from the hotel. You can browse the boutiques during the day and enjoy vibrant nightlife in the evening. If you want to absorb some Turkish culture, you can visit the castle or the Halicarnassus theatre, which dates back to the 4th century BC.
You can enjoy breakfast, lunch and dinner at the buffet restaurant. There's also a late breakfast on offer, with a continental-style buffet. A Turkish night is held once a week. Drinks and food are available from the hotel's bars through the day and until late. The a la carte restaurants both have outdoor seating.
Parkim Ayaz has a kids' club where children aged 4 to 12 can take part in activities. There's also a games room with table football and billiards.
Rooms at Parkim Ayaz are airy, with tiled floors and a balcony or terrace. They all have satellite TV, a minibar and individually controlled air conditioning.

The rooms are horrendous. I showed the reception this picture of the rooms youre advertising. Hes never seen these rooms before!! Beware SHOCKING ROOMS TINY BALCONY FITS ONE CHAIR ONLY!!! AWFUL. Good average. Breakfast disgusting. Each morn ing residents were eating on beach restaurant where it was about £4.00 for full English etc. Everyone we spoke too disgusted with food and room size. Quite dirty and shabby too
I went to the bar (cool breeze) for a drink but staff uhur jan (spelling could be wrong - that skinny tattooed guy) was only interested in young pretty girls. he was grumpty to me but too friendly with young girls. he is using his job to pick up girls while he ignores male customers. I will never go back as long as he is there
Amazing holiday! People nicely forgot about Covid19 and lived their lifes for a little bit. All social distance in place, all regulated, all staff wearing mask all day long, feel so sorry for them working in mask in 30°C +.
Enjoyed musis as entertainment and relaxation around pool, brilliant 3 swimming pools, Jacuzzi, bars, beach, food was limited but still excellent and always hot, hotel and facilities perfect, all clean and room service brilliant! Extended our stay for another week and tried different room. Modern but so small, prefer the old buildings.
TV without English language. Bottled water daily in the rooms. Loved up tortoises 🐢 around hotel! 🤭
Sea is dead, nearly without live, small fish sometimes spotted, as diver I took place for diving in opposite islands, great to see some wreck.
Hotel opposite bars and shops, all cheap! Bargains for clothes, ciggy, drinks and kebab! Street food the best! Taxi to town max £3. Bus all around Gumbet. So many options for daily trip.
Did so many trips via our representative guy Vedat L., great deals to see market, ride dirty buggy and dive. Helped with extension of stay also! Such a diamond!
Overall one of the best holidays, Turkey is amazing, cheap, clean, friendly and defo will come back ♡
