This hotel is situated on the Turkish coast of the Aegean, some 4 km from the tourist resort of Cesme. The smooth part-pebble, part-sand beach is only a few steps from the hotel. There are numerous shopping and entertainment venues in the small town of Ilica, only about 1 km from the resort, where there is also a public transport stop. The nearest large town is Izmir, approximately 90 km away. Transfer time to Izmir airport is about 70 minutes. Renovated in 2004, this luxury hotel has a total of 263 rooms spread over two buildings. The reception and many other services can be found in the 5-storey main building. In the hotel grounds there are freshwater and saltwater pools, a paddling pool, a thermal water pool, and a poolside snack bar creating the perfect environment for a blissful day of sunbathing. In 2011, the hotel opened a large children's' aqua park.

Impressions from the hotel as a whole to firm 4!

  • The beach area in the hotel is good, many piers, sun beds, soft pillows. All well-kept, clean, beautiful trees. Waiters are constantly serviced on the beach, you can order food and drinks, prices for the region are normal. Once only there was a situation that the beach towels ended, and the staff could not do anything. We do not know how to help, goodbye!
  • The spa is the advantage of the hotel. Booked here a number due to the presence of an open thermal pool, it is very pleasant, water +38, stones. Inside there is a children's pool with slides, another thermal and ordinary pool. A good massage and spa in Hammam make girls from Bali Island. They are well done! Receive prices, there is a special offer: Hammam + massage for 370 lira.
  • Receptions strongly spoiled the first impression of the hotel. We arrived already at 18:00, but the room was not ready, the staff told us that all rooms were busy. All this they told joyfully and with a smile! I did not even apologize, did not offer any compensation for inconvenience. They promised to move tomorrow evening. That is, we could not decompose the whole day and get a relax normally! We were settled in a terrible room, which in the hotel is called Deluxe! This is not a deluxe at all! There, the plot air, dusty, as if no one lived there and did not take it. The ventilation and sink did not work, it was very dirty. The room is dark, in the photo it is the maximum light, probably that the dirt is not visible. There was no bathrobes in the room, there were 1 double bed and clamshell, instead of 2 beds, as we ordered. When I chose a room on Booking, there was a bright room in blue colors. Our room was completely different. That is, nobody waited for us and did not prepare us a room! Upon arrival at the 5 star you are waiting for a specific standard of quality and hospitality. After the scandal and conversations with 5 employees of the reception, we still promised to settle tomorrow in the Garden Corps, where they did a photo for Booking. The next day they really moved, thanks! But the first impressions were spoiled. At the exit, it was also in advance in the evening approached the reception and asked to calculate for all the services, since the next day was an early departure and transfer to the airport. We all considered, we paid. In the morning, I'm already on the transfer, at the reception, they say that yesterday we forgot to count 2 euros! As ?! We specially approached the day before, not to spend on all this time in the morning when we wanted to get quietly drinking coffee! At the reception there are a lot of people, but full of mess.
  • Room cleaning. Unlike the territory where they are constantly sweeping and closed (super!), Dust never wiped out in the rooms. We rubbed the table ourselves. A century-old dust accumulated on the lamp. Cleaning was to change the towels, the floor wiping in the center of the room and the sink. In the shower, both sand before our arrival, and remained. Rooms in the Garden Corps are much better than the main building, but old.
  • Transfer. There were no problems, at the airport for a long time the driver was looking for, and so though the expensive transfer, but on a good car, with WiFi. Transfer 450 lira one way.
  • English. I would like the hotel all the information duplicated in English. In a buffet, all names of dishes in Turkish, the staff in English does not speak. A couple of people at the reception speak English.
  • In general, the hotel corresponds to the level of 4 stars, but not 5 stars due to poor quality cleaning, room condition and operation of the reception. All this is easy to fix, we wish the hotel to become better!

    We are so happy with the ilica resort.

    The staff is friendly and helpful.

    The sea and a private beach is like on Maldives or Zanzibar.

    Every detail in this hotel is created to provide the maximum level of service and comfort for guests.

    Great pools and SPA that are not overcrowded. You feel like on your private facility.

    We were really impressed by the variety of food - even with COVID limitations the hotel found a way to provide the guests tasty dishes and desserts.

    About the measures taken to prevent coronavirus: the hotel provides masks and antiseptics everywhere. You will feel SAFE here during your vacation.

    The hotel wasn’t overcrowded. It was really easy to find a cozy place to seat and talk with a friends.

    We were really impressed and hope to come back next October. :)

    I was expecting everything to be up to standards but this hotel has failed in many ways.

    The breakfast is terrible, i was served cold chips, the eggs didnt taste good. The orange juice isnt fresh and tasted really bad. You would expect a hotel with this many ratings to have good food, but im sorry it doesnt.

    I ordered Penne, at The "Grill Bar" next to the beach, and it tasted really bad, it had no taste at all.

    I asked to drink a hot chocolate for two days in a row but guess what they keep telling me they dont have any!

    If you come turkey, pay a bit more and get a better hotel, this hotel isnt up to the standards and this is the truth..

    The positives are the staff are friendly, the beds are comfortable.
