Awful arrival. When you walk out of the airport men will grab your suitcase and take it to your coach which is a 2min walk away, they do not work for the coach / hotel or holiday company....they just want your money and demand a tip. If it was a long walk i might understand but it really is ridiculas. Nice clean air conditioned coach took us to hotel. arrived at hotel and Left to que in the heat with my children and mother waiting for reception, finally got to the front only to have paper waved at me and an unfriendly voice say "name" followed by " you move over there" .....no smile....no explaining what was going on? i had to go back to reception to ask for a pen. waited a 40mins to be allocated a room only to find out they had spilt all of my family rooms to different parts of the hotel. i had messaged previously explaining that rooms had to be next to each other as my mother has early stage dementia. My mother was in the main building, my room was out past the pool/ over bridge in an annex and my nephews room was no where near us either. My mother was upset and i was stressed. after complaining several times it took 4days to get us all moved within a floor of each other. As for the hotel the rooms were ok and very clean. Resturant had a great selection of food but does get very busy, the resturant staff work very hard and were always lovely. You have to eat in your own resturant but you can use everything else at the hotel next door if you choose. we did because the marhaba royal is much nicer and has a better swimming pool which leads to the beach which is where we spent every day. The beach is great and the water is beautiful. Entertainment at the hotel was repetitive but ok for young ones, please get there early because it gets extremely busy and runs out of seats. There are a few gift shops a short walk outside the hotel which are nice. over all it was ok but i wish we had booked next door(marhaba royal) because it looked newer and much nicer, had a better pool and was closer to the beach. Overall ok holiday but i would not go there again.
