Like all big cities, the Swedish capital offers a wide range of wining and dining options and plenty of entertainment, including concerts and sporting events. There is no better place in town to be near all of them than the area around the Globe Arena, exactly where this wonderful hotel is positioned. In the heart of the city, it is close to the business district, local attractions, nightlife spots and shopping centres. Corporate events or business meetings can be held in the complex. Guests will enjoy first-class food and an agreeable atmosphere at the on-site restaurant. The elegant rooms are nicely decorated with soothing colours and feature all the necessary amenities to offer a pleasant and unforgettable experience.

Let us start with the positive. The lobby is big, with lots of seats that allow good social distancing practice, beautifully and cosily designed, can order drinks from the bar and there is a restaurant and vendo machines. The lobby is clean, with hand disinfectant in most floors, not all. Four elevators so no need to squeeze in during social distancing. Room is big and well planned. With very comfortable recliner. Can choose wood floors if you are allergic to carpets. Just let them know when you make the booking. The beds are comfortable, wifi working well. Lots of choices for breakfast (hot and cold), a refrigerator containing the special diets' milk, butter, etc. Very considerate of people with dietary needs. There are lots of choices for restaurants and shops in the nearby Globe Shopping Mall.
Tip 1: go to breakfast area not too late to get good seats.
Tip 2: fun to sit in the area with view of Globen regardless of if there is show, sport practice or not. And there is one empty table between tables to avoid being too close to others you may not even know.
What are the areas that need improvement: first, cleanliness in rooms. I looked under the bed by accident, my eyeglasses fell and went under the bed. It was so dusty. Can't believe there is no one inspecting the cleaning. There was no floor mat in the bathroom. It might have been a mistake or there is really none. I ended up using one of the provided towels so it will not drip too much when we get out of the shower. The worst is the stains on the pillow. There are decorative pillows which are very dirty. I could not even touch them. It is impossible to miss the stains. Both biggest decorative pillows we had have stains which cannot be missed. I took photos of them. The pillows with white pillowcases are too soft, so I had a problem to sleep. If the big throw pillows did not have stains, I would have used them as additional pillows.
Tip 3: If you want allergy-free rooms, make sure you ask during check-in. I asked for one during the booking but ended up in a carpeted room. Was offered an alternative room but it was still wasted time to go up and down for new keys when it could have been the correct type of room from the start.
Will I recommend to others? Depends on the price it is available. If 90-100€ for double room with breakfast, yes. If watching something in Globen or Tele2 Arena, good idea to be there. But if planning to be in town the whole day to see the attractions, please bear in mind that this place is 5-6 metro stations away from where most tourist attractions are. Metro tickets in Stockholm cost 4€/trip.
I would have given 3.5 stars for "good".
Staff at reception were pleasant and welcoming. Our room was clean and a good size with a comfortable bed. Breakfast buffert was okay but not the best in town - we only stayed one night so no problem. No voucher for a beer or bite to eat on arrival.
Chose this place due to its location close to the places we were visiting over weekend, nut not sure I would ever stay here again. The only thing I can think of is good about this place is the lobby. Great design and overall very cool. The rest is absolutely nothing to write home about. Quite dull and basic rooms, nothing to write home about.. Breakfast room was overcrowded and no social distancing at all, items was not refilled like it should. Just had a quick coffee and left....
