"Excellent service
We were arrive at the Colombo airport and told us we will be quarantine in sigiriya. I wass bit unhappy to travel 3 hours from the airport however during arrival to Hotel thay do flow government guideline on safety precautions.
"We expanded 14 days as a quarantine guest.the staff was friendly & supportive.food was delicious.A fine place to have a relaxed & calm.I'm so happy about Hotel Sigiriya.I highly recommend Thanks for chef Barnett and chef ekanayaka for providing delicious food.

For the sake of a few bucks in hard times this hotel, which is a run-down 3 start at most, has done itself lasting damage. 2 weeks there under quarantine, cost over USD 1000. In return? Room was never cleaned, linen wasnt changed - you had to fight to get clean sheets sooner than 7 days - no service of any kind, oh and locked in your room and ORDERED not to even step into the garden far less use the pool or walk out to see Sigiriya rock. Forget walking up it, the raison d'etre of the hotel. Ok the hotel has put itself under army imposed quarantine rules. What was unforgivable was how excessively the management colluded in this: ordering around and threatening guests who were treated not as if they were paying top dollar but as prisoners. The ordinary staff were very kind. But one front desk manager in particular needs to find another profession.
