I've just read the recent reviews left on and sincerely agree with what they say.
This hotel was absolutely brilliant, from arriving til unfortunately leaving early due to the corvid.
I came here with my partner for a chilled holiday and that's what we got.
As soon as you arrive, your temperature is checked. There's sanitizer all over the hotel. The staff and cleaners were constantly cleaning. You felt safe. Masks had to be worn all over and outside the hotel. You could take them off when you was at your table for food or having a drink.
Our room was spacious, the beds were comfy. The view was fabulous.
In the restaurant because of the current situation we could not get our own food, it was served to you by the staff. There was plenty, you won't starve.
The all inclusive snacks served in between meal times was great too.
We stay on the garden area close to the sea. Just so chilled. The was plenty of sun beds and plenty of room. I can't fault the staff they worked constantly. Especially Sandra who worked in the bar and David the manager of the restaurant. (he always had a smile on his face even tho we could not see it) lol.
I can honestly say we will definitely be back here. Loved every bit of it.
Good luck Globales Gardenia. Fingers crossed your back open very soon.
What a fantastic hotel. The hotel was spotless and the staff were fantastic at maintaining it throughout the day. Excellent Covid measures in place. The staff make the hotel. Every one of them are great. So helpful, attentive, happy. It really does make a difference. Fresh food cooking stations, pasta, pizza. Snack bar opens as breakfast closes can pretty much eat all day round.
Bank gate allows you access straight to the beach. The hotel is in torrablanca/los Bolicies area. You Can walk to Fuengirola along the prom in 30/40 mins or go out the main entrance cross over and jump the red bus €1.15 each to town. 10 mins tops and all air conditioned.
Entertainers kept kids and adults busy around the pool but let you just relax of didn’t want to join in.
Such a lovely find and will hopefully return. Hotel closed on Thursday because of Covid and we were moved for our last day to another hotel. I just hope it can reopen soon.
What a lovely hotel! On pulling up outside, I was concerned it was on a busy road - but when you go in it's like entering a little sanctuary and if using the back entrance into beautiful, quiet gardens, you would never know!
Room - we were on floor 5 with a part View of the sea and overlooking the pool. The room was immaculately clean with plenty of storage, very comfortable beds and a powerful shower. A small balcony was adequate to sit in the sun and the air con was perfect. The room was cleaned Daily and the towels changed. The cleaners were very friendly and gave a little knock if you forget to put the cleaning sign out, to check if they were ok to come in. Every single one wore a mask and said hello when you saw them in the hallways.
Food - lots of choices and always fresh. I'm not a fish or pork fan ( often served in hotels here) but I found lots of other things to eat. The restaurant area was again beautifully clean and you could eat outside. A warm welcome on the door was refreshing in the mornings and breakfast was served until 10:30am. Lovely staff and great Covid measures in place. Everyone wore masks when moving around the restaurant.
Grounds - beautiful gardens! We really enjoyed sitting out in the area leading to the beach and there were plenty of sunbeds. There was also a lovely grassed area where you could sit and look out to sea, seating around the pool and two balconies. Everything was well kept and spotlessly clean. Cleaners were constantly washing everything touched frequently and there was sanitiser everywhere - even in the lift, which we thought was fabulous! Toilets here are plentiful and again very, very clean!
Pool - nice pool that is shaded in the morning. Lifeguard was attentive and friendly and we felt very safe.
Snack bar - lovely burgers and cheese and ham toasties! Plenty of freshly cooked snacks - very clean.
Outside bar - open most of the day and night. Very hard working staff that were kept busy! Nice cocktails and a pleasant place to go - again Covid measures in place to ensure safety.
Reception - very helpful with information. All wore masks. Safe was 42 euros with 10 returned ( which we felt was a little steep).
Beach - beautiful beach literally on the doorstep! Lots of little shops and bars / cafes. You must wear a mask unless you are in the sea or laying on the beach.
I could write so much more about how lovely this hotel is - but for me the main thing that stood out was the fantastic attitude of the staff. The manager ( David Sanchez) was totally in control and worked incredibly hard! He was literally everywhere all day, checking cleanliness and making sure everything was running smoothly - it really made us feel safe knowing that he had things under control and even with the present situation unfolding, I was confident that he was doing everything he could to make our stay a safe one. He also pitched in with cleaning where needed and didn't seem to ask anyone to do anything that he wasn't prepared to do himself if necessary - in my eyes, exactly the kind of manager that you want to work for! The staff all seemed to respect him and it made for a lovely atmosphere - which puts people at ease. Everyone at this hotel worked very, very hard to make people's holidays a lovely experience and I think this is worth recognition.
It is very sad that it Is having to close tomorrow due to the current situation in Spain and I wish the the hotel and staff well and hope it is only a temporary measure.
Thank you for a lovely holiday.
