Hotel Palia La Roca

Palia la Roca is a traditional, seafront hotel in Arroyo de la Miel, a provincial town on the Costa del Sol in mainland Spain. The hotel is steps away from Playa Ana beach, which is a popular spot with families due to the calm waters of the Mediterranean Sea. Within driving distance of the hotel is the lively centre of Malaga, home to family-friendly theme parks and an international culinary scene. The centre of Arroyo de la Miel is also within walking distance. Here, you can find a cable car that ascends to the summit of Mount Calamorro and La Paloma Park, a green space full of plants from around the world. The hotel has an outdoor swimming pool and a separate swimming pool for children. You can challenge your friends and family to a game of pool, while fitness classes such as aerobics and aqua aerobics give you the option of staying active. On a daily basis, the hotel provides family-orientated entertainment that includes live shows. For children, there is a kids disco and a kids club that runs during the peak summer months. Palia la Roca has a lobby bar where you can enjoy soft and alcoholic drinks.

Palia la Roca is 100m from Playa Ana beach and 1.5km from the centre of Arroyo de la Miel. You can play golf at a nearby golf course, a 5km drive from the hotel, or visit an amusement park, which is 3km from the hotel. Selwo Marina, where you enjoy views of the harbour and dine at restaurants serving fresh seafood, is 1km from the hotel. The city of Malaga is a 20km drive. Here, you can find a water park and a theme park, as well as a lively nightlife scene.

Palia la Roca has a buffet restaurant that's open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The restaurant offers international cuisine and has a kids menu. Occasionally, the buffet restaurant hosts theme nights. If you want to eat out, you can enjoy Spanish dishes such as paella in the town centre.

From the hotel, you can take a walk down to the beach to go swimming in the sea or relax on the sand.

Rooms at Palia la Roca are bright and airy with a neutral colour palette. All come with air conditioning and a balcony or terrace.

Lovely stay
Feb 2020 |

Having visited the hotel 8 years previously and had an enjoyable stay we decided to book again having noticed that some improvements had been made to the hotel and pool area. We weren't disappointed and once again had a lovely stay. Rooms clean and comfortable and plenty of good food . Sure we will be back again!!

Very good value for money especially for all inclusive.

Staff were lovely. Loads of activities for adults and they had food set out for us when we arrived late at night (limited but was very thoughtful)
