We had a great stay at the Best Benalmadena for a long weekend. Our room was large and clean, with a similar spacious bathroom. We had a twin room, with two nearly-double bed, which was great. The room decor was a little dated, but not a big problem. We were all-inclusive, which felt like great value. The restaurant was clean, food regularly replenished and a decent range of options. There were vegetarian options, but were sometimes a little bit limited. Some food could be better labelled for those with special diets and allergies. The restaurant staff were friendly and attentive and there were a wide range of drinks available. Similarly, the bar staff were excellent. The pool area was clean and tidy, but can imagine it gets a little crowded in busier periods.
The hotel is about a 50 minute walk or 10-15 minutes in a taxi to the centre of Benalmadena, so if you're wanting somewhere in the middle of things this might not be the place for you. But if you're looking for somewhere a little quieter with a nice seaside walk into the town, this is absolutely ideal.
We were there in March, during a period when Spanish pensioners get subsidised holidays, and so the hotel had a lot of older guests. This was actually lovely as it meant the hotel had some hustle and bustle at a usually quieter period without it getting too busy.
We came here for a cheap break £600 for 4 nights this hotel had great reviews online and sadly didn’t live up to them 1/ all inclusive is not all inclusive only inclusive at certain times of day
2/ the food is terrible I mean old reheated slop I have a feeling prison food may be better
3/ customer service and concern are not there
Luckily for us we had the means to eat out breakfast lunch and dinner i feel sad for people who come on a budget and relying on fully inclusive
Great location, exceptionally friendly helpful staff, big rooms, massive bed, perfect balcony, tv, safe, hairdryer, fridge? Attractive outside areas, sea front.., could go on but TA are limiting the amount of words now!
I don’t know what people find to complain about? We stayed half board and for the price it was amazingly good value! The hotel caters for many different nationalities so if you find something not to your taste, try something else! You won’t go hungry!!
It is a good but enjoyable walk to the marina but the hotel is certainly not isolated. Shops/cafes etc nearby Plus there is a good bus service on the doorstep which will take you to Torremolinos or Fuengirola- all cheap.
Thank you everyone especially to our room attendant who looked after us so well (room 1105)
