I been there 2 times always been amazing we loved the hotel and the entertainment was great. Yes theres a hill not that bad going back next may again. They have free transportation to take people up and down .
After reading the reviews here I am sat here wondering what planet people live on.
I am currently sat in my hotel room writing this review, in a lovely plush bed, watching English TV whilst having the stunning backdrop of benidorm Mountain range to my side.
So, the reviews I've read say this is not a 4 star hotel. Having stayed in a lot of 3 star hotels around Spain and Europe, I can confirm it's star status. The room we are in may not be the biggest, but this has cost us £31 per night! A room in Newcastle no where near the quality of this costs us over £60 a night. Decor is spot on, the beds are lovely and it has a wood floor, not tiled so nice on the feet in the morning.
The steep hill..... I'm still wondering where it is and how people can rate the hotel down based on geography. Yes there's a small incline towards it, but if you use your brain and walk past the free parking spaces outside you remove the hill almost completely. We walked back last night, easily I may add, and unless you're an asthmatic or over 75 you won't struggle to walk back.
No noise so far, always could be since its benidorm, but you are out of the way of the strip and I slept like a baby last night (I'm a light sleeper).
The room we are in is spotlessly clean, the reception area is huge, and the staff we have met have been typically Spanish, they aren't OTT on friendliness but I don't expect to make a best friend within 2 minutes of meeting someone. The corridors are fine, not some Blackpool ghost ride the reviews make them out to be.
This hotel is, for the money, superb and would not hesitate to return.
We spent a night at the Palm Beach to go to a dinner show at Benidorm Palace to see Aqua.
We had a double refurbished room on the 9th floor with a lovely terrace and great views across the hotels and mountains of Benidorm.
The hotel blinds in the corridor had seen better days and the hotel restaurant was closed for refurbishment but the hotel location was ideal for our needs.
The hotel indoor pool was a real treat on the Saturday afternoon when we arrived and Reception staff were really helpful.
We’d stay there again for an overnight but only out of season!
