Gran Hotel Bali is in Benidorm, on Spain's Costa Blanca. The hotel is one of the tallest hotels in Europe, and you'll be able to enjoy panoramic views across the resort and the surrounding countryside. It's a short walk from Benidorm's Poniente Beach, which is a long sandy stretch overlooked by cliffs. You'll be able to relax with a drink at one of the beachfront bars, enjoy the sandy beach or take a dip in the calm waters of the Mediterranean Sea. There are three outdoor pools at the hotel and a shallow pool for children. There's also a whirlpool. After your swim, you can visit the pool bar where you'll be able to choose from a variety of drinks and light snacks. If you want to keep active, the hotel has a fitness area. Alternatively, you can pamper yourself at the spa. There's a range of beauty treatments on offer, as well as a sauna and a Turkish bath where you can relax. Gran Hotel Bali has two buffet restaurants with a choice of local and international dishes. There's a special area for children, serving pizzas and ice cream. There are four bars in total, including a snack bar.
Gran Hotel Bali is 300m from Poniente Beach. The beach is sandy with shallow waters, which makes it popular with families and swimmers. If you fancy exploring more beaches, the nearby Levante Beach is geared towards active beachgoers, and there are diving boards and rafts in the sea. You can also take a trip to Malpas Beach, a sheltered bay popular with visitors wanting to play volleyball or other beach sports. The hotel is also 3km from Benidorm's bustling Old Town. Here, you'll be able to explore the narrow, cobbled streets, lined with whitewashed houses, tapas bars and boutiques.
You'll be able to have breakfast, lunch and dinner at the hotel's main buffet restaurant. There's also a cafe serving hot drinks and snacks. If you fancy discovering more eating, drinking and entertainment options outside of the hotel, you'll find a wide range of cuisines in the town centre.
The hotel has a kids' club for ages 4-8, which is open daily. There's family-friendly entertainment every day during the summer months.

Enjoyed our stay it been a couple of years ago but we are going back hopefully this year if it's open stunning views from the roof great facility's friendly staff very nice rooms would recommend easy access to cars and restaurants terra metica and golf courses
I love this hotel, it is busy, it is buzzing, it is the cleanest hotel I have ever stayed in, and the staff are marvellous. Carlos the manager cannot do enough for his guests, he runs round like a headless chicken, is very busy but always has time to say hello, smile and help if you need it.
I originally booked the Cabana Hotel the other side of Benidorm town, however, we were changed to this hotel. First impressions were great. It's 186m high, has an outside lift that goes up to the 43rd floor in tower 2 and caters for thousands of guests.
Check in at reception was nice. Didn't have to wait too long, maybe 10 minutes during busy times, information for your stay was all placed into an envelope for you to keep.
We went up to our room and it was perfectly adequate for our stay. Temperature control, freebies in the bathroom (including a comb!), satellite TV, balcony with a view over the pool, VERY comfortable mattresses and fresh, clean linen.
Breakfast was good with a wide selection of food. They have disposable gloves and hand gel dotted around so it is very hygienic.
I did come across a piece of raw chicken by the poolside which was hilarious but I informed them right away and it was sorted. I assume that some children thought that a slab of chicken was the best thing in the world and wanted to play with it. However, the pool chemicals would have killed any germs, no problems there.
I did have an issue but I spoke with the hotel manager who was very apologetic and even offered us a free night stay to apologise. I have absolute confidence that the manager will improve anything that needs improving.
