Stayed here at the start of July for a long weekend. Excellent central location close to the Universitat metro station. Some aspects of the hotel rooms could do with an update - the air conditioning was a bit temperamental and the mirror was quite marked. Also the breakfast was a bit disappointing with it being in a box, but that's due to the current circumstances. Overall very good value for money and would stay again.
Booked this hotel in February based on the services advertised on their site.
They changed the services being provided (Bar operating hours changed from 11am - 11pm to open 'during the morning, time aprox until 14:30')
As the booking was made based on the services they advertised I contacted them to either change the booking dates to such a time they can honour what we booked or offer a refund if they were no longer able to offer the services advertised on their site. As the booking was non refundable I didn't expect them to agree a refund but thought it was a reasonable request to change the dates until such time they can honour what we booked.
There are many other hotels that do not offer the services available in this hotel however the price is reflective of this & had we wished to say at a hotel that did not have these services we would have booked a cheaper alternative.
The staff I emailed were unapologetic & one of the worst customer services I have experienced.
The booking was made in good faith assuming the hotel would honour the services advertised however due to the pandemic they seem to be of the opinion it is good customer service to change their services without any option to understand the impact this has had on our booking.
Needless to say we won't be arriving at such a hotel & look forward to staying elsewhere at a later date.
We have yet to stay at this hotel but I feel the need to review the excellent service I have just received from a lady called Elisenda in trying to rearrange our stay in May to November because of the uncertainty of the coronavirus. After emailing the hotel asking if this would be possible I received a prompt reply explaining that not only could they do this but as the cost for November is cheaper than what I paid for in May they could also add 2 more nights to our stay without any extra charge. As they could just easily have said OK we will just change the original amount of nights I feel there honesty in offering this was an extremely good gesture. Thank you.
