We stayed in a room 2 + 2 with a friend couple. The room had one douple bed and another bunk bed. The rooms were clean and quiet and no complains about the bathroom. The decoration was quite plain, nothing to do with Spain in my opinion. Our room had also nice little kitchen with coffee and water boiler and stow (which we didn't use). We went to see also the buffet breakfast which looked worth the 9 euros but didn't have it because we had already booked brunch in another place. Excellent location near subway. Bad pillows. Saved quite a lot of money which could then be used for tapas and wine ;)
The apartment we had was very nicely decorated and very clean. It was surprisingly spacious. The small kitchen was well equipped, with everything you might need for a quick dinner. The building is very baby-friendly and a supermarket is literally right next door. There is also a bakery nearby. Rocafort station is very close, but we walked almost everywhere. If you are in a good shape, or do not mind walking too much, you can even avoid the public transport. We were there with a baby, but walking was not an issue. We were tired indeed in the end, but it was worth it. :) Breakfast was good, staff were friendly.
We asked for a room on the upper floor with a view to the backyard to avoid the noise that could come from the street. It is exactly what we received, so thanks for listening to our request. The room was almost next to the elevator (I've read on Tripadvisor that noise from other guests and the elevator can be unpleasant), but this was not an issue for us.
We were there in February and the temperature in the room was perfect.
The only reason I'm not rating it excellent is because the bathroom could use a bit of renovation and we would have liked to have a few more vegetables for breakfast, as well as a few more baby-friendly options. But even so, we would definitely come back and stay here again if we are to come to Barcelona once again.
For the price it was the best hotel where I have ever been. Luxury rooms and everything, but the view from balcony was little bit boring. But breakfasts were awesome and really tasty. We will come back again!
