Jurys Inn Parnell Street sits in the centre of Dublin on the north side of the River Liffey, steps from the city’s main boulevard - O’Connell St. Within the hotel there is a fitness suite equipped with a treadmill, a cross trainer and weights, ideal for a quick workout.
Before a day of sightseeing, build up your energy with a mouth-watering full Irish breakfast. The bar & restaurant is open from midday and serves food from 1.30 until 10pm. With floor to ceiling windows, you’ll get a great view of the city as you devour your meal or sip a pint of the black stuff. A separate menu for the little guests includes children’s favourites such as spaghetti with meatballs, pizzas and ice cream sandwiches. If you prefer to watch your favourite TV show while eating, room service is available.
Spacious rooms can accommodate up to three adults or families of four. These each boast WiFi, flatscreen TVs, tea & coffee making facilities and a hairdryer. Upgrade to the Executive option and you’ll additionally get a safe, a Nespresso® machine and complimentary snacks.
The hotel is conveniently located for the city’s attractions. The green north-south tram line runs past the hotel entrance, providing direct connections to the renowned Trinity College, with its Book of Kells exhibition and St Stephen’s Green, a Victorian civic gem. Information boards dotted around the park tell you about its role in the 1916 Easter Rising, including how both sides ceased fighting daily to allow the park keeper to feed the waterfowl. Just outside the green space is a hidden gem - Newman University Church, dating from 1856 and with a Byzantine Revival interior, a rare sight in western Europe.
The world-famous Temple Bar area is around 10 minutes walk from the hotel. On the way you’ll pass one of Ireland’s most bizarre attractions - a leprechaun museum. Take a short diversion to cross the River Liffey using the Ha’penny Bridge, dating from 1816. Despite the name it’s free to cross today, so there’s no need to find a coin that’s been taken out of circulation!
