We recently had a wonderful honeymoon at VidaMar Resort. A few things:
Nothing else to say, other than we'll be back!
Christmas visit for 11 nights which included our wedding anniversary and my birthday. They gave us a bottle of wine for our anniversary, they then noted we were not drinkers so for my birthday I got a chocolate cake and a jug of juice...perfect surprise as I returned from my spa.
The spa, although partially closed was still very clean and we were warmly welcomed by majority of staff.
The heated indoor pool was not very heated but clean and inviting even though steam room was closed.
The sea view room was large and comfortable. Only 10 hangers for two people over 11 nights! We did ask for more and they promptly arrived. The bathroom took getting used to with mirrors everywhere! But lovely and bright.
The room itself needed more lighting and maybe a coat hook or two?
The bed although very comfortable, the waterproof protector was not welcomed and maybe the cotton version would be a better alternative?
Main ocean Restaurant for breakfast and dinner. Meals okay! The alternative restaurant was mamma Mia but we didn’t visit.
Christmas Eve meal was special and almost felt normal in a not so normal world at the minute. The menu...???

We had an amazing stay at VidaMar Resort. The staff treated us like royalty and made sure that we had everything we needed. The were upgraded to a sea view room which was big with a huge bathroom. Breakfast and dinner were great with a lot of choices and daily menu changes. Because of the pandemic there were not a lot of people but still a lot of staff who were always cheerful.
We also felt safe with their COVID-19 measures and guidelines such as wearing plastic gloves when getting food etc.. We would like to thank the staff for making our stay so memorable!
