This is a very nice hotel. I had booked another accommodation that turned out to be a disaster and found this hotel the same day and immediately contacted them through Booking. They had a room available the same day, which was a relief. The hotel is very big, clean and has friendly and polite staff. The room was very nice, it was not a full sea view room but nonetheless we could see the sea from the side. The pools were quite cold but the pool at the spa is great. Not a big spa, but nice to relax. I had two massages and one facial treatment done and those were great too. Again, very friendly staff. The only thing that was 100% disappointing and very out of character was the restaurant. I ordered a meal and they brought me the wrong one, then they brought the one I ordered but it still didn’t seem like the one I ordered but it was fine with me since it was at least vegetarian. It was however the dullest vegetarian meal I’ve ever had. For the mistake they made they brought me a glass of wine (or champagne?) but I don’t drink alcohol. When I mentioned it they took it back. But didn’t offer anything else. No problem though, it was thoughtful of them to offer it at least. Afterwards they left a survey with the check. I thought that was funny because it was clear the answers wouldn’t be positive. I left it blank. This experience made me question to give three or four stars, but I decided on four. The bar at the outdoor pools has nice food. Too bad it closes in the evening. It was a disappointment that you had to pay for parking, but luckily there was always room to park. Breakfast is very nice. Good vegetarian options, it’s very clean(!) and the food is of great quality. My husband said it was the best hotel breakfast he had.
As this review probably already shows this hotel has pros and cons. Generally, I really enjoyed my stay a lot and I will be back.
Stayed here for a week over Christmas, we just made it out of the UK a day before travel was restricted and I'm so glad we did. Had a great, relaxing break for 7 days, food was great, particularly from the show-cooking section. We had a sea view room which was amazing and also had one of the biggest beds we've seen in a hotel. Staff were amazing. The hotel was a little dark, I liked this but some of the older guests didn't appear to appreciate this. We went all inclusive and the only small gripe for me would be that the only bar open in the evening was The Fly bar which was a little small for the size of the hotel. Not sure if there are more options in peak season but it did get a little busy at times (although not overwhelmingly) so get in a little on the early side to get a table inside.
A beautiful hotel set in the mountain side. Excellent staff, friendly, helpful and an asset to the Savoy chain. Nothing too much trouble, many staff going the extra mile.
Hotel is designed to have a relaxing feel. We found it a bit too dark. Lots of mood lighting and smoked glass.
Spa is wonderful, beautifully clean and well laid out.
Fabulous food and the a la carte restaurant a must.
Huge beds and our sea view room had an amazing view.
