My family and I recently spent 15 nights in an executive suite at the Tivoli.
This was our third time here and, definitely, not the last.
This hotel is perfectly located in Avenida da Liberdade. Lisbon's most luxurious avenue. In my humble opinion, one of the most beautiful avenues.
We were welcomed back by Nelson- the duty manager. What a charming individual. After a long and exhausting trip it's nice to see a friendly face.
We encountered some Covid-19 restrictions, week curfews from 11pm-5am and weekends curfews from 1pm to 5am.
Tivoli takes safety and wellbeing of their guests very seriously. Wearing a mask is mandatory even in the lift. You can find hand sanitizer everywhere. To be honest, we felt much safer in Portugal than in the UK.
The Breakfast never disappoints us. It was à la carte menu when we stayed there. Apart from the last few days when the Buffet breakfast was re-introduced. You line up and someone will help serve whatever you want.
The Hotel has two really good restaurants. A cervejaria and a rooftop restaurant 'Seen' with amazing views over the city and you can even see the castle of Sao Jorge.
Tivoli has a gym and spa. I used a couple times for a early workout.
The spa is really nice. Some treatments are not available due to the restrictions but you can still have a head, neck, shoulder massage or indulge yourself with a mini facial. Which was amazing, thanks to the lovely Sofia.
As we spent Christmas at the Tivoli, we wanted our little one to have an amazing time. And, the staff made it possible by allowing the Christmas presents under the magnificent Christmas tree in the lobby, for our little one to come down and find what Santa brought for her. You can imagine her excitement! .
From the front steps, front desk, restaurant, Bar and housekeeping: You are the stars!
You made sure that we had an amazing and memorable stay. We can't thank you enough.
After all, it's the attention to detail a.k.a the little things you do that makes everything perfectly memorable.
You are home away from home!
Happy New year to all of you at the Tivoli.

We just got back from four nights at the Tivoli in Lisboa. We were impressed with the hotel from the minute of check in. Nelson (the front desk manager) greeted us and continued to care for us during the duration of our stay. He made us feel so welcome and truly handled all of our needs so graciously and with the utmost attention. He was happy to also accommodate our two children (ages 13 and 11) and their needs. He was there to greet us every morning and help us in anyway he could. The hotel itself was immaculate and well located and the rooms very spacious. We ate at their rooftop restaurant "Seen" twice and had such lovely experiences with both the food and staff and amazing views ! Carolina the other manager was also very lovely and accommodating. When we had an issue with the air conditioning they bent over backwards to change our rooms and make sure we were very comfortable. As a family who travels a decent amount, we put this as one of our favorite hotel experiences and will definitely return.
Stayed for the 2nd time, well placed in the center, good service, breakfast is great. A true 5 star. The previous breakfast place had a great view a pity it is not anymore. The lobby is majestic as it should be in a real 5 star.
