We stayed for a week in this fantastic hotel with our baby daughter. We had such amazing time there and can’t wait to return to it one day.
The room is not modern style and bit dated. I found this old portuguese decor in the room somehow very relaxing.
The pools in the hotel are exceptionally clear and well maintained. We spent everyday on the poolside and enjoyed the sun.
The only complaint is that the morning buffet breakfast was disappointing. It had very limited choices.
Having travelled the world and stayed in some first class hotels, we have to say that our experience here was WOW. Food, service, quality of room and furnishings cannot be faulted. The only downside was that there was no member of staff available if a drink or snack was required by the pool area. The fusion restaurant was unbelievable with food of a michelin star quality and the service was second to none. Reception staff and concierge were always available and nohing was seemed to be an effort. Will definitely return!!
This hotel in a nutshell is beauty, tranquility & luxury. Its so peaceful and serene by the lake you can actually forget the location is also outstanding. What really made our stay though was the incredible staff and most of all Joana the Guest relationship manager.
She made an effort to introduce herself a few days in and her warmth and professionalism is uncompromising. She has a wealth of knowledge about the Algarve that if you are willing to learn about it and take her insider suggestions they will make your stay unforgettable.
I should also make a note that they ensured that during such a difficult period all the guests felt safe - breakfast would be booked and staggered to avoid overcrowding, sunbeds were placed approx 4metres part (double the requirement), and contactless hand sanitisers at every corner along with a number of other arrangements.
