We enjoyed our 2 week stay in Auramar. Loved the view of the beach. Clean hotel. Mandela from the animation was really nice! He was fun and does his job really well. Every night there was a live music, which is nice.
We were a group of 2 couples that visited Portugal. We enjoyed our stay, Mandela was a really great and fun guy. Every night there was a live music. Clean hotel, very nice people. The pool were cleaned every night. One critic was that the pillows were really soft (but that’s a personal thing.
As everyone says - very dated and in desperate need of a refurbishment. The rooms are truly appalling. Dark, dingy and scruffy. The only saving grace is the view which was stunning. Only cleaned upon request due to staff shortages.
Food is ok - typical all inclusive. No frills. Same for drinks. Entertainment is very poor - same singer,same songs every night. And bingo. Team is just one guy.
Pool areas are lovely except for the plastic orange chairs.
Beach is lovely - short walk down a path/steps.
The staff are MISERABLE. Some are quite rude.
We had a good holiday for what we paid but I wouldn’t recommend this hotel.
