I booked a week here for May 20. They were not supposed to charge me until my arrival, they charged the full amount in January. I had free cancellation until May and cancelled in April due to Covid. Since then I wrote many emails and called in order to be refunded. Unfortunately, still no sign of my money, they are not picking any calls. I have now filed a dispute with my bank.
We are all going through difficulties but this is unacceptable behaviour! I would never consider going back to this hotel.
Travelled with friends and had a wonderful stay. The riad is in a good location for walking around the sites and sounds of Marrakesh. Don’t worry about walking down the alley to the front door. The Riad is beautiful inside and the staff will look after you like family. Rooms are very comfortable and it’s lovely sitting on the roof terrace. We enjoyed our time, were well looked after and enjoyed a few bottles of wine in the sun.
Most of the staff were super friendly and really helpful. Quite often because we had early trips, the manager got up early to give us breakfast before we left. We loved all the little areas in this Riad. We were still finding little alcoves after the two weeks we were there. It is really close to the medina and right in the centre of all the hustle and bustle of the markets. We loved the location. Our room was nice and spacious and the heating was good.
However, the bathroom, especially, needed a refurbishment. Even a paint would have done wonders. The walls in the shower looked pretty discoloured which made them look dirty. The lighting wasn't that good. There were several things that were advertised that went with the room which we never got. We were in a deluxe room. The confirmation says that the following are in the room but they are not: safety deposit box, iron, wine or champagne, bottle of water, wine glasses, shampoo.
