The seaside city has a port and a marina, and a popular promenade that runs alongside the long beach. The historic Kasbah is a short drive from the city, offering panoramic views across the Atlantic. You can take a boat trip from the harbour, or drive along the coast to Imsouane, home of surfing and a choice of seafood restaurants. It's a day trip from Agadir to Taroudant, an old market town in the mountains with souks and places to eat.
The buffet restaurant provides breakfast, lunch and dinner, and offers international cuisine. The hotel's ‡ la carte restaurant is open from mid-morning until early evening, and has outdoor seating. There's a bar in the hotel lobby, and during the day, the poolside bar is open. Tea, coffee and cakes are served in the afternoon.
