Coin de Mire Attitude sits on Mauritius' north coast, steps from Pereybere beach. This white sandy beach is nestled between the villages of Grand Bay and Cap Malheureux. Here, you'll be able to enjoy a swim in the warm waters of the Indian Ocean, which are calm and shallow enough for all of the family to enjoy. The hotel was renovated in 2017 and has been redesigned in the style of a typical beach villa, complete with whitewashed walls, bamboo accents and white wood interiors. You'll be able to swim in the two outdoor pools, and there's a surrounding sun terrace area where you can relax. The bar is right by the pool if you fancy something to drink. Designed like a typical beach bar with a thatched roof and decking area, it's open throughout the day until midnight. The hotel has an à la carte restaurant as well as a main buffet restaurant where you can have breakfast, lunch and dinner. If you want to explore the waters, the hotel organises swimming outings and trips in glass bottom boats. There's a range of water activities on offer, including kayaking and pedal boats. The hotel also has a spa on site.
Coin de Mire Attitude lies on the northern tip of Mauritius. If you fancy venturing away from the beach, the hotel is 4km away from the village of Grand Bay, where you'll be able to enjoy some shopping and lively nightlife. Mauritius has plenty to explore, from temples to beaches. You can explore the island by taking a trip to the capital Port Louis, where you can visit the marina, explore the market or try some of the local cuisine. Further afield is the sacred Grand Bassin where you can visit the Hindu temples and see the dramatic 108ft statue of the Hindu god Shiva.
The hotel's main restaurant is a buffet where you'll be able to enjoy a range of local specialities and international dishes. If you fancy sampling some traditional Mauritian cuisine, there is a Mauritian à la carte restaurant open for dinner four times a week. There's also a Mauritian buffet offering lunch.
The hotel has evening entertainment four times a week. This includes music. There are various sporting activities available on site, such as table tennis.
All of the rooms at the hotel have furnished balconies or terraces. There's also Wi-Fi and air conditioning available in every room.

I had a spacious room with a balcony giving to the sea. I was provided with a mini fridge containing milk, butter, jam, and 2 bottles of water. The room was clean and comfortable. Cleaning supplies were provided, laundry & dish soap (with sponge) were also given to me. I had a candle in the room which really helped to change the mood. The hotel staff is so caring and respectful. They go above and beyond to meet your requirements so that you have a wonderful stay. Accommodation is provided in case of allergies, or any food restrictions. I did not have any issues with the WIFI connection. 14 days were by so fast. I've had a wonderful stay and I would like to say A BIG THANK YOU to the team leader, Mr. Vish, the caterers, the Chef, the receptionists & the medical team (Doctor and the nurse). Thank you so much for the unforgettable hospitality. I strongly recommend this hotel to anyone.
Great thanks to the whole team of Coin de Mire and especially to Marvin, Gangesh, and the chef cook Avinesh. Always friendly and helpful with a great sense of hospitality. Everything was just beyond any expectations. I had a lovely cozy and spacious room with an amazing balcony view of the ocean and palm garden with many birds around.
I am 100% vegetarian and I prefer vegan dishes the chef Avinesh cooked amazing tasty Mauritian meals always respecting my non-dairy wishes. Happily, I accepted the exceptions for Paneer and vegetarian Pizza :)) Luckily, I did ;-)
