Intended to do a bit of shopping at Midvalley. Of course the Hotel that is attached to it is the Cititel. Check in was fast and the reception was friendly. The room was comfortable and I took the deluxe room. It is not as big as few deluxe room that I experienced.
However the toilet is excellent. It came together with bath tub and shower cubicle. I always commented that in the modern era, travellers prefer shower cubicle rather than bath tub and it is much more safer.
Breakfast was nice ,it was not excellent but delicious. Due to Covid safety precaution , they serve ala carte style but unlimited supply 'eat all you can'. You feel safe enough as you don't have to wonder how many people actually have touch the buffet spoon.
Really nice place..we had so much fun here.. Our family check in happily and no complains
From front desk to dine in everything was perfect!! We are all happy during our stay...thank you so much for ur care :D
On 12-Aug'20, I booked queen size bed at agoda around 5pm, and put note that will be checking around 8~9pm.
when I arrived hotel around 8:30pm to check-in,
Staff said: Hotel only left 2 single bed, queen size bed room fully booked.
I said: when I place booking was Queen Size bed, and your system was confirmed and accepted it.
Staff said: No, all queen size bed room was fully booked, if you want to have queen size bed room, you need to pay extra.
I replied why it dint mention when I place booking? why your hotel dint block the choice of bed room if it was full? your hotel already accepted my payment, and confirmed my booking, you should make sure to have room ready, not 9pm when guest arrive and you simply said no room and ask guest to pay extra in order to get room to stay!
the staff turn rude and said we dont have any room, it depend on availability!
I ask the staff, is this my problem? if your hotel dont have room to sell, dont take my money and give promise!
The staff replied: this not my problem! you want room, you need to pay extra!
After heard what the staff replied, it really piss me off!
I said, if you cant make decision, then call your Manager come out talk to me. The staff just keep quiet, after like 5min she said she upgrade my room and got room for me.
After check-in, the next morning 10am, above my room with loud renovation drilling noice! Free Wake-Up Call!!!
Good thing was after call to the Front desk, the morning shift staff response very fast to change my room in 15min.
Stayed 2 night, pass by lobby duno how many times, every staff just chit chat or busy their thing and dont even brother you pass by.
Only the Security staff that stationed at carpark B1 was very friendly and greet you all the time when you pass by.
what a shame...
