Stayed here for 14 days quarantine in end November. Spacious room, comfy bed and pillows. Big toilet. Appropriate size table for working.
Quarantine food was tasty and came on time. Quarantine admin team respond swiftly to requests. No complaints for my quarantine stay, am satisfied!
The view is the best, 14 days looking at our beloved KLCC twin tower!
Upon arrival at 4pm, were told by reception that my room not ready where the check-in supposed to be at 2pm. Then car parking found only at level 5 but the elevator cannot be use. Reception don’t care and expect you to go down and up 5 level using stairs if you want to go to your car. Reception never say sorry for both incidents. Bathroom shower got problem and dirty shower curtain like never replace for long time. Really spoiled the mood for me, my wife and 3 kids. Also the swimming pool cannot be use. Wasted and should never stay at Impiana KLCC. Next day moved to Grand Hyatt hotel just opposite and have an amazing stay.
My 2nd time here in quarantine, I should have learned by my lesson by choosing this hotel again, however I was advised that staff and conditions here had got their act together so took the chance to “do my time” here. Big mistake. BE VERY AWARE OF THE “PREMIUM PACKAGE” RIP OFF SCAM!
Day 1: Checked in and heading to room. Corridor is absolutely filthy. IMPIANA this needs a vacuum immediately! Smell is terrible. It’s just unbelievable the state of this area!! IMPIANA have you no pride?
ROOM/ BATHROOM: Filthy,,,, someone else’s hair and other unidentifiable remains everywhere ( you know the score, walk around and it’s sticking to your feet) Towel for bathroom floor disgusting, more hair and stained, like it was not changed after the previous occupant. Pics of bathroom attached.
WELCOME PACKAGE: Absolute joke, I was presented with 6 pages of nonsense. The most confusing pile of rubbish ever. Call or email Mr x or Miss x for this that and the other. YOU NEED TO SIMPLIFY.
LAUNDRY: Nonexistent! Absolutely astounded that this hotel won’t wash clothes!!!! ( THIS IS AN ALARM BELL FOR ANYONE CONSIDERING THIS PLACE) I was told that all washing had to be done in the room!! REALLY!!??? Ok like most other mediocre hotels like you, a clothes line is provided in the bathroom,,,, to hang wet clothes. IMPIANA - There is nothing at all in my room to do my laundry, you gave me a tiny bag of detergent to wash my clothes in the sink! The sink plug opens when I try to wash my clothes. There is nowhere to hang and dry!?
COMMUNICATION: From reception, room service, or any other function available from the room phone, it’s an absolute joke. No one understands, no one cares. If you communicate in English for any enquiries whatsoever, it’s a challenge.
FOOD: This place simply can not get it right, whatever you order is wrong! The menu “as per our executive chef discretion “ is pathetic. Choice of 3 dishes for the entire stay. Tasteless crap.
SUMMARY; To anyone who is considering the “Premium package” avoid this hotel. It’s terrible.
