Staff was great. Room was basic but fine. We had booked an ocean view studio room. They had 2 of the 4 studio rooms rentable. They took us to a studio room and the AC didn't work. The other studio was occupied so we moved to a regular room. No compensation given. We were supposed to move to the studio room the next day but we decided that we wanted to be on the first floor and the 2 studio rooms were 2nd floor so we stayed in a regular room. No compensation given, the man at the front desk even tried to charge me for a safe key. The man working the front desk was not very helpful at all. He definitely lacks any customer service skills. One of the reasons that we booked Fun Holiday was because of the pool. The pool had a greenish tint and was dirty the entire time we stayed there, you could see scum around the sides of it. It definitely needs a good scrub down. It's a shame that they charge outrageous prices at the bar for non-AI patrons because it only hurts their bartending staff. The first night that we were there, we went to the bar to get a couple of beers. They were probably 8 oz cups of draft beer and they charged $5 each. If the prices had been reasonable, we might've stayed there and had a few drinks and tipped the bar staff but instead we went elsewhere. We would not stay here again. The only saving grace of this hotel was the staff. Donavan (the bartender) was always very friendly (even though we didn’t patronize the bar), the housekeeping staff was great, Trevor, Steve, Ninja, Orlando, and Country were all great.
This was my 6th time at fun holiday and it was awesome as usual. Right from the air Canada rep to the wonder staff at. Fun holiday country the entertainment was awesome really enjoyed the entertainment. Donavin the bartender was awesome. And both janets in the kitchen. Awesome food and Janet on the beach was very helpful as always macekensie. And Trevor were always there to help as Steve was always available to give us a ride. The maxes. We’re great Reba. Wil be back in February
We went with another couple. First time to Jamaica.. resort is well maintained.. Location and beach are amazing, The staff are 5 star and make this resort even more amazing... Food was fantastic. We Loved the music during the day and karaoke during the evening along with trivia. Can't wait to return. We already booked our trip for 2021 for this resort depending on covid restrictions, we may have to cancel.. soooo sad... PLEASE DO NOT CHANGE A THING!!!
