Hand-crafted cottages rest waiting for you along Negril's famous Seven Mile Beach. Your world becomes a jungle, on the beach... with room service. In a carefully designed village there is little left to be desired... and if you do think of something... just take a stroll along the beach and catch the vibes of Jamaica at her natural best. Negril Beach is legendary. As far back as the Sixties, when Negril was a small fishing village, intrepid tourists would find their way out to Negril. This place has no control over noise from its own guests. After two nights of complaints over late night music and noise Country Country did nothing about it. Guards did nothing to stop the noise from these guests
We had a great weekend at this place! When you remember the names of staff and take the time to mention them, you should get an idea of what type of place this is! Sherene and Latoya were great at the front desk. Lee is ever helpful with bags and anything else you need. Anything! The F&B Manager Audley is always attentive and Dwayne is world-class at the bar! As a (Jamaican) locally-based traveller I grade local places hard. Country Country passes with flying colours!
Still loving it! Still cosy, warm and friendly with great service!
Country Country cottages give you the real authentic feeling of being in a rural Jamaican district. The buildings and decor remind you of 'old time Jamaica'. My room was clean, bed was comfortable. (Suggestions: Tea supplies must be stored on the shelf beside the fridge and not in the bathroom. Scrub the shower tiles). Traditional Jamaican cuisine is served, the ackee and saltfish breakfast are a must-have. The beautiful beach with its warm calm, shallow water complete the beautiful scenery.
