Camelia is a small cozy hotel in a good spot in Rome. It's located near the Central train station an not far from the city center but it is also close to the Colosseum and other points of interest. Moreover, It's a 5 min walk from a metro station. It has comfortable clean rooms and a good breakfast. The staff was friendly and helpful and the price was just fine!
This hotel, not far from anywhere in Rome, is a comfy little Italian jewel for the traveler wanting an authentic Italian experience lodging. The staff is excellent, speak several languages, and are always glad to help in any way they can.
Hotel Camelia is a little gem located on a quiet street within a 8 - 10 minute walk from Rome Termini station. I stayed in a single room which was adequate in size with a large bathroom, shower worked perfectly. Hotel is clean , staff is friendly and provide great service. Check in was immediate. Thanks to the front desk staff for being patient with directions(I'm the lady that kept getting lost lol).
The hotel provides a buffet breakfast daily which was a nice start to the day.
FYI - Termini station has large bus depot, the 40 bus travels through all of the popular attractions including the Vatican. You can take the Davinci express from Termini to the airport. Also you can find the metro there.
I would definitely recommend this hotel and will stay here on my next visit to Rome.
