Located on the enchanting Via Giulia, right in the heart of the historic centre of Rome, it is just a short walk from Piazza Navona, Castel Sant Angelo, St. Peter's Square and the Sistine Chapel. Its environment is rich in charm and history, where Italian contemporary design is closed within ancient Roman walls. The modern interiors perfectly blend with important historical testimony of the ancient time: the Travertine Stones on the door step resembling modern sofas, the Renaissance façade with the “Madonna delle Grazie” wooden effigy dated 18th century and the travertine Walls. Our philosophy is based on a strong desire to provide our guests with an authentic experience by offering locally or regionally sourced products. A rich breakfast will be served at I Sofà Restaurant with a local selection of sweet and savory delicacies. Roof Top Bar & Restaurant is open during the summer months.

This was our third stay in Indigo as it has become a place to go when in Rome due to my Ioyalty to IHG and hotels locations, which is second to none. Walking distance to literally every nice spot in central Rome.
Nothing much changed since our last visit a year and a half ago, including hotels reluctance to upgrade - no upgrade despite not being full and our spire elite status. They did give us a room with a view of the courtyard, which was supposed to be quieter, but that's it.
Due to COVID, breakfast was limited to a la carte, but very high quality nevertheless and as usual the tastiest Italian cappuccino.
Despite not being so generous for IHG members, I would not change the hotel for my next Rome visits as the quality of accommodation, services and location all are unbeatable.
My husband (a "Spire Elite Ambassador" member with IHG) and I, just returned from a 4 night stay at the Hotel Indigo in Rome, Italy. We travel extensively for work and pleasure and were completely impressed from the moment we arrived!! The warm and welcoming staff, our lovely room, the modern decor and the ever helpful Concierge.... all impeccable! The rooftop restaurant is a must... beautiful, romantic plus amazing views! The maître d' and bartender took very good care of our every need.. Grazie mille!! Looking forward to returning soon...
Well for a while I have been wanting to find a new favourite hotel in Rome and I probably have found it!
Great decor, Fantastic staff, location (not prefect but pretty good).. visiting in COVID times is never going to be a normal experience but the staff here made it so!
