This hotel is beautiful, perfectly located, you walk easily to the city centre. They can arrange a private parking in a place close to the hotel for some fee and your car is always prepared in 15min if you need it. The terrace has gorgeous view and we loved breakfast there. Breakfast are delicious, big and coffee very good. The pool on the roof is such a great place for relax. Dinner in the hotel restaurant was tasty, but Florence has much more to offer. The staff is very nice and proffesional. Can only recommend!
We are currently staying in the Kraft Hotel - we chose it for the pool (definitely needed in the heat) and the proximity to the historic centre of Florence.
We are so pleased we came here. We have one of the ‘deluxe’ rooms, which I would highly recommend as it is very spacious, beautifully furnished and decorated and we have a small balcony. I like to sit out early in the morning and watch the sun rise!
The bathroom looks like it has been recently refurbished, and although we don’t expect it, towels are changed every day.
We have a good mini bar with water, coke and a couple of beers, which is free with the deluxe room.
The only downside (for me, because I am a typical English person) is the lack of tea and coffee making facilities in the room, but it really is not a problem, and you can order room service if desperate!
Breakfast is good, and is served on the roof terrace with spectacular views over the city.
The staff are extremely nice too.
We are looking forward to eating in the terrace restaurant one evening, apparently the food is excellent.
There is some building work on a building close by which some people might be bothered by, but it is totally out of the control of the hotel, and we actually enjoy watching the crane manoeuvring whilst lying by the pool!😂
We highly recommend this hotel to make your stay in Florence extra special.
We knew we wanted to stay somewhere with a pool and surprisingly in Florence, there aren’t many in a central location. The hotel itself is okay, the pool and terrace is fantastic and so needed in the heat.
Location is good, breakfast is great! Staff were friendly and on booking we did tell them it was our anniversary and they provided a complimentary drink voucher which was really nice.
We found COVID measures to be good.
One grumble (and the only reason I have marked it as 4 not 5) would be the smell of cigarette smoke in the corridor / room. We smelt it a couple of times (day and night) and called reception to report it and ask if there were smoking rooms we weren’t aware of. The hotel is said to be non-smoking and they were apologetic, offering us to change rooms, we didn’t as it was late and our last night. We aren’t smokers ourselves, it didn’t bother me too much but it wasn’t pleasant and was clearly someone smoking indoors not just one cigarette.
